The Panasonic TH-50CQE2W is a 4K display from the Entry Series CQE2 and offers perfect picture quality for businesses, educational institutions and conference rooms. With a panel size of 50 inches and a brightness of 500 cd/m², the TH-50CQE2W guarantees you clear and sharp images. The TH-50CQE2W is equipped with four HDMI video inputs so that you can easily connect external devices. Use the large number of HDMI connections to connect presentation solutions, video conference cameras, various players or your laptop, for example. In addition, the TH-50CQE2W display also offers a USB-C port (15 W) that you can use to connect your mobile devices. The display of your content in 4K, data transfer and charging of the connected devices can be done simultaneously via a single cable with the USB-C port. In addition, the display can be upgraded with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth using dongles and can then perform wireless transmission with a PC. Display internet-based information and switch speakers smoothly during a meeting. The CQE2 series has the HTML5 browser pre-installed, allowing you to play adverts without the need for an external device.

With a brightness of 500 cd/m², the Panasonic TH-50CEQ2W is suitable for rooms with normal brightness. The display should therefore not be installed in rooms with a huge window front. In principle, you can use the display with this brightness value optimally in 90% of all meeting and conference rooms. This brightness value is also more than sufficient in retail and store areas as long as the sun is not shining directly on the display. The TH-50CEQ2W's ultra-high 4K UHD resolution with 3840 x 2160 pixels offers you high-quality images. The display also features a VA panel. VA panel technology offers you significantly higher contrast values than an IPS panel. The display has a contrast ratio of 5000:1 and impresses with high black and white values for both digital signage content and classic office applications. The Panasonic TH-50CQE2W has an anti-glare coating to minimise unwanted reflections. In combination with the 16/7 runtime release, you get a robust display that promises you a long service life. 

Flexible installation options 

The Panasonic TH-50CEQ2W is extremely flexible when it comes to installation location and mounting. Install the display in landscape or portrait format or utilise the TH-50CQE2W's tilt option. You can also tilt the display forwards by 20° in landscape mode. This guarantees good readability when it is mounted higher, for example. The display is also 68 mm deep, so even narrow aisles are no problem.

Play content conveniently with the USB media player and Android™ OS

Play your content on the TH-50CEQ2W via a USB storage device. Simply insert your USB device into the USB slot provided on the display and your pictures, videos or entire playlists will be played automatically. With the content management software, you can easily create playlists with media support, including combinations of still and video images. You can set up schedules to play and stop your media playlist at predefined dates and times. You can then synchronise and transfer these schedules to a USB storage device or via your LAN connection. You don't even need to buy any paid software for your playlists, as you can download the content management software free of charge from the Panasonic website. The Android operating system is already integrated in the CQE2 series™ from Panasonic. By installing the apk file via USB or network, digital signage can be operated without an STB or PC. The Google Play Store is not supported.

Variety of connections for more flexibility

The TH-50CEQ2W has a wide range of connections: In addition to the four HDMI ports and USB-C input already mentioned, the display also has three USB ports (1x USB-A 3.0, 2x USB-A 2.0). This allows you to connect multiple devices for the next meeting in the meeting room. The display also has two integrated 10-watt speakers (20 watts total output), so you don't need external speakers, which is particularly useful when installing a large display in confined spaces. However, you can of course still connect external speakers. The audio output with 3.5 mm jack connection is also an advantage if you want to connect a microphone to the display or pass the audio signal through to a public address system. The TH-50CEQ2W has an optional microSD slot so that you can insert a microSD/SDHC/SDXC card with a maximum capacity of 1 TB.

Control and management 

You can control the TH-50CEQ2W and several devices simultaneously and integrate them into your existing system via a LAN connection. Panasonic also offers the Multi-Monitoring & Control software, with which you can control your displays and peripheral devices on the intranet. This can be expanded with additional functions such as the display of error messages or improved maintenance measures - but at a cost. In principle, however, the basic control functions are also sufficient. As a bonus, this display also has the cloning function, which makes it easier for you to set up several displays. If you install more than one TH-50CEQ2W, you can use the cloning function to use a USB storage device to transfer the respective settings of a higher-level display to other devices. And that saves a lot of time!
