The Barco ClickShare CX-50 GEN2 is the new generation of the CX-50 conferencing system and offers superior quality wireless conferencing with just one click. The ClickShare CX-50 GEN2 automatically connects to devices in the room (cameras, microphones, speakers, all-in-one bars) and works with a wide range of compatible solutions from global partners and brands. With the platform-independent, wireless Barco ClickShare CX-50 GEN2 room system, you can start hybrid meetings from your laptop using any conferencing tool. Create a space where your employees can communicate and optimise their constructive collaboration with just one click. No cables, no chaos and everyone is heard, everyone is seen, no matter where he or she is.
With the Barco ClickShare CX-50 GEN2 you are free to choose the way you collaborate i.e. "bring your own meeting" and decide how you and your guests work together. Thanks to the Plug & Play functionality of the Barco ClickShare USB-C Button (two buttons are already included) and the smart, purpose-built meeting flows of the ClickShare app, your meetings will be intuitive and interactive. The CX-50 GEN2 offers you support for 2 screens, i.e. content and people are shown side by side on 2 room displays. This allows you to see participants who join remotely throughout the entire videoconference. This provides a more equal experience for all participants in the meeting, whether they join remotely or are sitting in the room. In addition to screen sharing, the Barco ClickShare CX-50 GEN2 also benefits from interactivity features such as local view of the room display, annotation, blackboarding and touchback support.
Barco ClickShare CX-50 GEN2 is a flexible solution for any conference room configuration, allowing you to switch between 'Unified Communication' mode and 'Bring Your Own Meeting' mode. This allows users to easily switch between a fixed room configuration and other video conferencing solutions. The solution is easy to connect: all it takes is a USB-C cable between the ClickShare CX-50 GEN2 Base Unit and the room display to power the unit and send the video output to the display. IT managers are able to meet regulatory requirements with both a wireless and wired alternative.
A range of IT-friendly features makes the Barco ClickShare CX-50 GEN2 conferencing system the perfect solution for any corporate environment. ClickShare CX-50 GEN2 features enhanced security and offers advanced network integration into any IT network with its LAN connection. Whether you want to connect the device to the network via Ethernet or set up a dedicated VLAN for all your existing ClickShare devices in the company - you can always easily realise a seamless integration into your network. Of course, security is also a top priority for all ClickShare systems. By integrating the ClickShare CX-50 GEN2 into your network, you also have the option of centrally managing the device and any ClickShare systems that may already be in your company. Whether you want to realise this central management via the optional Barco XMS EU Management Server or via the optional cloud-based Barco XMS Management Platform is, of course, entirely up to you. In any case, the device management of your Barco ClickShare Base Units is greatly simplified by the XMS systems.
For the ClickShare CX-50 GEN2, the manufacturer Barco grants a 1-year warranty as standard. By activating the already included SmartCare, you can extend this warranty to 5 years. Please note that end customers must register their ClickShare system within 6 months of receiving it in order to activate SmartCare. With SmartCare, in addition to the warranty extension, you also receive extended service through priority helpdesk access, fast hardware replacement and 24/7 access to online tools and documentation from the manufacturer. SmartCare therefore means for you: fast on-site replacement through express shipping, extended hardware coverage up to 5 years and investment protection as you avoid unexpected replacement costs.
