ELMO MA-1 Mobile Document Camera with 5" Display - WiFi - Miracast - Android Platform - White

The ELMO MA-1 document camera is the first document camera from ELMO that heralds the start of a new generation of visualisers. The compact, foldable design of the MA-1 is ideal for mobile use in schools and universities and not only impresses with extremely high flexibility, but now also comes to you with an integrated battery. The ELMO MA-1 can be used either with or completely without a PC. On the mobile document camera   the Android platform is already firmly integrated and so you can surf the Internet without additional hardware, or access numerous learning applications via a WiFi connection.

The integrated Android operating system is also one of the highlights of the brand-new Visualizer, as this feature - in combination with the integrated battery - allows you to work completely self-sufficiently. Simply connect the ELMO MA-1 to your Internet via WiFi (of course, this also works classically via a LAN connection) and you are ready for interactive teaching in 2020. You can now download various apps via the secure ELMO Play Store and save them directly on the camera. Since ELMO provides its own app store, you don't have to worry about security either; all apps are checked before they are released and then also comply with ELMO's high-quality standards. Install via the in-house store, for example, a QR code scanner, an app for translating foreign languages, or use augmented reality to make what you see even more tangible for your pupils. With the ELMO MA-1, you can introduce completely new approaches into your lessons and make learning much more interesting.

The ELMO MA-1 Visualizer has built-in wireless Miracast connectivity: simply connect the document camera wirelessly and easily to display devices with Miracast capability. This means you no longer need a cable connection if you want to connect the MA-1 to a Samsung display, for example, because all professional displays from Samsung have this support and you do not need to purchase any additional hardware. But a direct connection with a beamer would also be possible at any time via Miracast, provided the beamer supports Miracast. Almost all manufacturers now offer a Miracast dongle with which the document camera can connect and bring your presentation to the big screen. With Miracast you not only save yourself the "annoying" cabling, but are also ready to present within a few seconds. Those who prefer the classic cabling will be pleased with the existing HDMI and VGA connections of the MA-1.

The 5-inch touch panel distinguishes the ELMO MA-1 from the MO-2, otherwise the Visualizers are identical. The small display of the MA-1 can not only be used as a preview monitor, but you can also write directly on the monitor, which is an interesting function especially in whiteboard mode. But of course you can also zoom in on objects or highlight them via the touch screen. Of course, you can also scroll through documents at any time, find and play existing presentations, and so on. The preview monitor is always a real advantage when you don't have a PC available.

As mentioned earlier, ELMO's mobile Visualizer MA-1 has a built-in battery that allows teachers to move around the classroom to engage directly with students without being tied to cables. The built-in battery provides power for approximately 2 hours, making the document camera an interesting solution for salespeople in the field.

The easily rotatable camera head gives you the flexibility you need so that you don't have to reposition the camera every time. With the help of the integrated LED lamp, you can illuminate objects perfectly at all times. The integrated microphone allows you to record your presentations as video and send them to the participants afterwards. Of course, with the ELMO MA-1 you can also easily play back presentations that have already been created via the document camera and thus use them several times. Simply use the integrated SD card slot and play back images and videos without a PC.  Thanks to the 16x zoom and the full HD resolution (1920x1080 pixels) , objects and documents of A3 and larger can be filmed.

The ELMO MA-1 document camera also impresses with its connectivity all along the line and comes with an HDMI output, HDMI input, VGA output, 2 x USB type A, 1 x USB type B, RJ-45, audio output 3.5 mm stereo, audio input 3.5 mm stereo, Wi-Fi in the 2.4 and 5GHz range, as well as a wireless Miracast wireless display technology.

You can also connect a USB mouse and keyboard to the ELMO MA-1 at any time. Optionally, ELMO also offers you the CRA tablet and the ELMO CRB interactive whiteboard system as matching components with which you can add further functions and possibilities to the MA-1.
