The Crestron AirMedia® 3100 AirMedia® Receiver AM-3100-WF-I enables secure, wireless collaboration in today's modern, digital work environment. Simply install the receiver in conference rooms, meeting rooms, lounges, lobbies or almost any room to create a productive meeting environment.
The
AM-3100-WF-I Receiver can be placed under, next to or invisibly behind a screen. This creates a smart space for wireless connectivity. AirMedia technology lets you present your content from laptops, smartphones and tablet devices wirelessly via built-in Wi-Fi® networking capabilities or over an external Wi-Fi® network. Show your content from Android™ and iOS® mobile devices using the AirMedia app. Download the client software, the AirMedia extension for Google Chrome™ or Miracast® screen mirroring technology (Windows 10 computers only), and wow your audience with your images and videos. AirMedia wireless presentation: connect and present
The Sony AM-3100-WF-I AirMedia Receiver has an AirMedia wireless presentation function and an HDMI® output for display (up to 4K), an HDMI input and various USB interfaces for wireless conferencing. The HDMI input allows you to connect directly to a local source, such as a laptop, your smartphone or your tablet. The HDMI input supports HD 1080p/60 signals. AirMedia technology enables wireless presentation of content from laptops, smartphones and tablet PCs. You can use the built-in Wi-Fi® network function or an external Wi-Fi® wireless network. In addition, you can view your content from your desktop PC or laptop: all you need to do is download the client software, an AirMedia extension for Google Chrome™ and Miracast® screen mirroring technology (Windows 10 computers only). In addition, you can also use the AirMedia app for Android™ and iOS® mobile devices to present your content in the best possible way. Multi-source presentation
With the AirMedia Canvas feature, you can present up to four sources simultaneously. AirMedia Canvas automatically configures the best possible layout based on the number of active presenters, the type of sources and their aspect ratios to maximise screen space. Use the AirMedia app or a connected touchscreen (sold separately) to manage sources and their position on the screen.
Wireless conferencing for perfect collaboration
Wireless conferencing enables great collaboration through video conferencing from almost any device. The AirMedia app provides wireless access to connected conferencing devices such as soundbars, cameras or speakerphones. Devices are instantly available on the user's laptop and are usable with Microsoft Teams® or Zoom™ software.
When no source is connected, the AM-3100-WF-I displays a customisable welcome screen on the room display with simple instructions on how to connect and start the presentation. Room availability and meeting details are displayed on the screen through integration with Microsoft Exchange Server® (for Outlook® and Microsoft 365® software users), Google Calendar™ or Crestron Fusion® room scheduling software. Notifications are displayed regularly during the meeting. These provide information about the remaining meeting time and the next scheduled event. Pop-up messages sent from Crestron Fusion can also be displayed for emergencies or important announcements.
Add-on control options and central management
By adding a 7" or 10" Crestron® TS or Crestron® TSW-70 Series touchscreen, the AM-3100-WF-I can also be operated manually. The touch screen provides an additional view of the room plan and meeting details. It also allows input source selection, display on/off, display volume control and mute. Central management and monitoring of the presentation rooms is done via the Crestron Fusion Enterprise Management Service. By adding the optional presence sensor (CEN-ODT-C-POE), the AM-3100-WF-I can report and log the presence of people in the room. The display can be switched on and off accordingly and unused rooms can be made available for new bookings. Crestron Fusion software supports room scheduling. It integrates with a variety of third-party calendar applications. Instant alerts inform the helpdesk. This allows problems to be resolved quickly and maximises uptime and workflow.
XiO Cloud® Provisioning and Management Service
The AM-3100-WF-I is compatible with the XiO Cloud Service. It enables installers and IT managers to easily install and manage thousands of devices. System alerts, network management and provisioning are provided through the XiO Cloud Service. The Appspace digital signage application can be integrated with the AM-3100-WF-I. When there is no presentation or the room is unoccupied, the AM-3100-WF-I can display content from an Appspace digital signage channel.
Enterprise-class presentation systemThe
AirMedia presentation system is an enterprise-class solution that can be deployed in hundreds of rooms and only requires configuration via a web browser, Crestron Fusion or XiO Cloud software. The AM-3100-WF-I protects privacy and ensures compliance with your organisation's IT policies by using standard network security protocols such as 802.1x network access control, Active Directory® authentication and AES content encryption.
Hybrid wireless connectivity with AirMedia adapterThe
AM-3100-WF-I is compatible with the AirMedia Connect adapter (AM-TX3-100-I). It offers an alternative to the software-based AirMedia Wireless presentation. Simply plug the adapter into the USB-C® port of a mobile device. The connection to the AM-3100-WF-I is already established. The adapter communicates wirelessly with the system via the integrated Wi-Fi network function. In this way, content with a resolution of up to 4K30 can be displayed. For presentations, the content is scaled to the selected resolution for the HDMI output.
