Crestron AirMedia AM-100 - wireless presentation system

With the Crestron AirMedia , you can present wirelessly from any device. Whether you have an Android tablet, an iOS phone, a MAC OS X® or a Windows notebook®, you can connect to the Crestron AirMedia instantly and within seconds. With the AirMedia, you can transmit videos and content including sound in HD quality and simply show them on a display or beamer.

With the Crestron AirMedia, up to 32 participants can connect to the device, the Quad - View function enables the display of up to 4 devices simultaneously and, if required, the moderation mode can be switched on. In this case, the presentation leader can determine which of the up to 32 participants may display their content and who is displayed on which square . The onscreen button can be used to switch easily from one speaker to the next.

A special feature is the possibility for another 40 participants to follow the presentation live via remote access. Especially at large events, where direct eye contact with the display or beamer is not possible, the presentation can also be shown on mobile devices. The Remote View function allows participants to follow the presentation remotely via a web browser.

AirMedia turns any room into a productive working environment. Small working groups  can easily connect with their own smartphone, tablet or laptop wirelessly to the display or beamer in the room. Fast and efficient group work is possible within a very short time.

The effort for the IT department is very low.   All that is needed is   an Ethernet connection between the AirMedia Gateway and the company network. Software installation is just as unnecessary as additional equipment. Since the AirMedia connects to the corporate network via LAN, all IT security standards are met. In addition, the desktop application can be made available in the background via the IT department.

There are three simple and fast variants for wireless presentations with AirMedia:

• When using a laptop, simply enter the web address to start the presentation, which the Crestron AirMedia shows on the display or beamer. No separate software installation is necessary, an advantage especially in small to medium-sized companies and for guest speakers.
  
• For smartphones or tablets, Crestron provides a free app in the respective app store, which can be easily downloaded there . After the installation, your end device immediately connects to the AirMedia. After selecting the appropriate presentation, you can scroll through the individual slides, for example.
  
• In larger companies, it is advisable to install the client simultaneously on all laptops in the network.
