The 4K HDR Processor X1 with 4K X-Reality PRO processing upscales your lower resolution content to 4K, resulting in a more detailed and sharper picture quality. It enables the playback of content in Ultra HD resolution with 3840 x 2160 pixels. To ensure that these can also be played back smoothly, vividly and without jerking, Sony provides you with its Motionflow XR technology, which is used in your display to improve the motion display and reduce motion blur. The result is a flowing yet razor-sharp image presentation, which is predestined to create buying incentives for your customers around the clock in retail. Live Colour technology also maximises the display's colour palette so that everything you see looks more vivid and realistic. 

VA panel technology for wide viewing angles 

Here you get an LCD display equipped with a VA panel. A VA panel (Vertical Alignment Panel) is a type of LCD panel that can display better colour accuracy and a wider colour gamut, which is particularly beneficial for applications such as photo editing or video viewing. With the Sony FW-55BZ20L, we are talking about a viewing angle of 178 (89/89) degrees up, down, right and left. This allows viewers to see the picture clearly and in true colour, even when looking at the display from the side or from above/below. The VA panel technology offers you significantly higher contrast values than an IPS panel. The display has a contrast ratio of 5000:1 and impresses with high black and white values for both digital signage content and classic office applications. The brightness of 350 cd/m² offers you reliable performance in rooms with medium brightness, for example a meeting room with a large east-facing window. Your business presentation will be clearly visible to all with vivid colours and the contrast ratio improves the presentation with deep blacks and brighter whites. The panel can be considered relatively glossy. This allows you to see absolutely clear and expressive images. However, reflections can easily occur when light falls on it. In an office facing south and exposed to direct sunlight, we would ensure that there is a blackout option in the room, as the appropriate brightness and perception of reflections also depends on personal preferences and the specific lighting conditions. Install the Sony BRAVIA FW-50BZ20L quickly and easily

For installation, you are supported by an adjustment device that makes it easier to centre the screen in portrait or landscape format. With the VESA 200 x 200 mm, you have a large selection of different mounting systems to choose from. Together with the weight of 12.1 kg, you can easily find a suitable mount in our shop. 

Easy set-up and versatile connectivity 

The side-mounted interfaces leave little to be desired. From HDMI for the transmission of audio and video signals via plug-and-play with HDCP, an analogue audio input and a digital audio output, two USB 2.0 ports and an Ethernet input. The integrated W-LAN module supports Wifi Direct. This allows the display to be conveniently integrated into your system environment and enables IP control, or more precisely, management and control of the display via the network. RS-232C control with a control device such as a computer, a media server or an AV controller would also be possible. Or you can use HDMI-CEC to control various devices that are connected to each other via HDMI. The Sony FW-50BZ20L also allows you to stream your content directly to the display via Apple AirPlay or Google Chromecast.

The installed Android TV operating system was specially developed for smart TVs and displays and guarantees you reliability and an incredible range of possibilities to use the display and thus also improve your entertainment experience. The operating system offers a user-friendly interface and a wide range of functions and apps. You have seamless integration of Google services, including Google Assistant and Google Play Store, as well as access to a huge library of apps, games and streaming services. With the Google Meet app and a compatible webcam, you can quickly set up a presentable video conferencing system that also offers reliable sound thanks to the two built-in 10 watt speakers. The setup, which many new display owners shy away from, has been cleverly implemented here. You have presets for meeting rooms, signage and much more at your disposal. Your new display then takes care of the configuration of picture mode, input, control settings etc. - wonderfully simple!

The FW-50BZ20L's integrated HTML5 support makes it easy for you to produce compelling digital signage content. Combine graphics, text, video and live web content to create attractive content in minutes, without the need for additional hardware such as a media player, PC or set-top box, or specialised training. With the easy-to-use apps, content can be easily shared from PCs and tablets. The Sony FW-50BZ20L includes the integrated BRAVIA Signage Free software (BSF), which automatically displays HTML content, videos and photos when a USB stick is inserted into the BRAVIA. With the right hardware performance, you can also seamlessly integrate the latest leading automation and control platforms as well as open APIs ("Application Programming Interface").
