The demand for stretched displays is increasing, simply because companies are often looking for a way to display information and attract attention in places where there is not much space available. In addition, digital signage should also be versatile and cost-effective. Stretched displays such as the Samsung SH37C are ideal for this: it has an aspect ratio of 16:4.5 and is therefore particularly suitable where space is limited. The SH37C from Samsung impresses with its design: it has a very slim profile with a depth of just 44.8 mm, allowing you to make the most of the available space. So if you really don't have much space, the SH37C can even be installed there.
In addition, the SH37C can also be easily rotated thanks to the integrated pivot function. This means that you can easily switch the stretched display from landscape mode (landscape format) to portrait mode (portrait format) and vice versa. Your content, such as images and videos, automatically adapts to the respective orientation. With several SH37Cs, you can even create unique sculptures or mosaic installations, for example, which are guaranteed to attract the customer's attention and remain unforgettable.
Stretched displays are particularly popular for advertising in the retail and catering sectors due to their design. However, these displays can also be used to provide important travel information at locations such as airports, bus and train stations. The text and the message on the display play a particularly important role here, as the information must remain vivid and sharp even under difficult-to-recognise ambient conditions. The SH37C is therefore equipped with a glare-free panel (haze value 28%) and a brightness of 700 cd/m², so that the display shows your content clearly and distinctly in almost all lighting conditions. The 700 cd/m² brightness is suitable for rooms with high brightness: Displays for high room brightness mean that the room has lots of windows or skylights, for example, through which the room is flooded with plenty of light. If you want to be on the safe side and avoid compromising on the display of your content, you should opt for this bright variant. With the glare-free panel, you don't have to worry about reflections from windows or other light sources, which is typical in airport terminals or shopping centres, for example.
The SH37C display features Samsung's powerful TIZEN operating system (version 7.0), which gives you powerful features without the need for a separate media player box. With this all-in-one solution, it is so easier to manage your content and installation and maintenance is really simple. The Samsung SMART Signage Platform (SSSP) is an open-source solution embedded in Samsung SMART Signage, which means no external devices communicate with the server or play digital media. With TIZEN 7.0, you can quickly create your own content and use a variety of web formats and web standards, with added protection. The Tizen OS offers easy control of the screen and allows you to store content directly on the display and schedule playback times using the integrated MagicInfo Player S10 with 8GB (3GB free) memory.
For a professional content management system for centralised management and content creation of your digital advertising, the Samsung SH37C display enables direct access to Samsung MagicInfo or its successor Samsung VXT. With both solutions, digital signage content can be created and published very quickly. The connection to the display can be established via WiFi or LAN. Schedules can be easily created on the PC or - when using VXT - also with mobile devices. These schedules determine when the display is switched on and off. You can also specify which content is to be played at what time. Even if the display is switched off at night, the schedule is retained. Content is planned for days / weeks or months in advance. Use the drag & drop editor to create the first advertising content to impress your customers in no time at all.
Multiple screens can be connected to each other via daisy chain to display Ultra HD content on multiple screens. Simply use the HDMI output for this.For example, you can display advertising campaigns at public locations to great effect.
You have further connection options in the form of three HDMI 2.0 inputs and two USB 2.0 ports. You can control your SH37C via RS232C and connect it to your network via the RJ45 LAN connection. Speakers are not included with the SH37C, but can be added via the audio connection.
Samsung offers a 3-year manufacturer's warranty for the SH37C.

Basically, one of the biggest advantages of the Samsung SH37C is its design: with its slim stretched format, it fits almost anywhere and lets you play your content around the clock. Whether it's a classic advert in a retail shop, the fast food restaurant around the corner or the right travel information for an upcoming flight - the SH37C reproduces images, videos and text in very good quality, even in difficult lighting conditions.
