The Optoma ML1080ST is a state-of-the-art, portable short throw projector with premium RGB triple laser light source technology. The Optoma ML1080ST offers Full HD 1080p resolution and 1200 ansi lumens brightness, projecting bright and crisp images even in brighter environments. The short throw projector delivers 30,000 hours of light source life thanks to DuraCore laser technology. Optoma's ML1080ST projector has been equipped with innovative Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology: it delivers automatic geometry and focus correction to create perfectly projected images in an instant. In addition, the four-corner correction ensures optimal image conditions. The ML1080 short-throw projector is a highly energy-efficient model, reducing power consumption by up to 58% compared to lamp-based projectors. The ML1080ST short-throw projector can achieve an image of up to 100 inches from just under 1.5 metres.
RGB laser technology, full HD resolution and 1200 ansi lumens for high quality picture
The image quality of the Optoma ML1080ST is impressive across the board. In contrast, the RGB laser as a light source contains one high-power laser per colour (red, green, blue). The light is generated directly by red, green and blue lasers and not exclusively by a blue laser as is the case with laser phosphor beamers. This method delivers very good colour quality due to the individual lasers per colour. This allows a colour space to be displayed that is even larger than AdobeRGB. RGB laser beamers use three DLP chips for projection. The advantages are luminosity and excellent colour reproduction. However, the size and high cost are disadvantages.
With a Full HD resolution of 1080p, the beamer can display razor-sharp details and lifelike colours. This creates a visual experience that is ideal for home cinema applications and presentations where high image quality is required. The projector's LED technology not only enables the display of vivid colours and rich contrasts, but also offers the advantage of longer life compared to conventional lamps. This contributes to cost efficiency and minimises maintenance, making Optoma's ML1080ST a long-term investment.
The Optoma ML1080ST short throw projector combines 1200 Ansi Lumens brightness with vibrant colours for a vivid, lifelike image even in brightly lit environments. Full HD 1080p resolution delivers crisp, detailed images in HD quality, all without downscaling or compressing your content.
HDR and HLG compatible
The Optoma ML1080ST projector is also capable of receiving and displaying Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) HDR content. HLG compatible projectors from Optoma allow you to see even more detail and texture. Objects appear more solid and lifelike and convey more depth. This feature is ideal for high-end product presentations, as your product to be promoted will look as detailed to the viewer as if they were looking through a window.
Perfect image thanks to automatic keystone correction and focusing
If uneven alignment of the projector to the screen or projection surface Automatic keystone correction, also known as keystone adjustment, automatically adjusts the unwanted keystone effect. To perfectly align the image to the screen, Optoma's ML1080ST projector features +/-40° vertical keystone correction. The innovative Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology also provides automatic geometry and focus correction to create perfectly projected images in no time. The ML1080ST can thus automatically detect distances and automatically adjust the focus to give you the best possible image.
Possible projections in 360-degree and portrait format
With 360-degree projection, images can be displayed in any orientation, giving you the freedom and versatility to install the ML1080ST projector wherever you want. You can also rotate the ML1080ST 90 degrees to project a portrait format - ideal for digital signage.
Innovative design for sustainability
Designed with sustainability in mind, the ML1080ST maintains brightness and colour saturation longer with energy-saving RGB triple laser technology for up to 30,000 hours of maintenance-free operation. The ML1080ST is an energy-efficient model that reduces power consumption by up to 58% compared to lamp-based projectors. It is 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) and up to 99% of the packaging is recyclable.
Connectivity options of the ML1080ST
In terms of connectivity, the Optoma ML1080ST offers basic connectivity options: For example, you can use the USB-C port as well as the HDMI 2.1 port to connect various devices, such as laptops, smartphones or game consoles, and project your content directly onto the big screen. The included USB-A port powers, for example, an HDMI dongle such as Google Chromecast. The short-throw projector has an integrated speaker that can be supplemented with external speakers to further optimise the sound.
