Neat Pad Controller / Room Booking Display for Zoom and MS Teams - 8 inch touch screen for Neat Board

The Neat Pad for Zoom and MS Teams is an elegant display with an 8 inch screen diagonal and the perfect complement for the Neat Board. The Neat Pad can be used as a video conference controller as well as a room booking display and is compatible with Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

You decide during setup what you want to use the Neat Tablet for. The elegant tablet display has 2 built-in microphones and speakers, as well as LED lighting on the side for the visual display of various functions

If you configure the Neat Pad as a controller, it ensures that each meeting room is always ready for use. You can add multiple Neat Pads in a room so that everyone has access to the video conference controls from anywhere at the table. And in an upcoming software release, the Neat Pad's two built-in microphones will provide enhanced audio recording on all Neat systems. This will allow you to use the microphones built into the Neat Pad to augment the microphones available on the Neat Board. This way, even participants sitting at the back of the table can be better understood. If you want to place the Neat Pad on the table, you can simply position it anywhere. The tablet is powered via the cable supplied. The tablet can be supplied with Internet via PoE or via the integrated WiFi. Used as a controller, you can start your meetings faster with a Neat Pad and share your screen with just one tap. Configure Neat Pad as a controller for your Zoom rooms. It also allows you to invite participants, mute them if necessary or record your meetings. When connected to a third-party Zoom Rooms system, it not only replaces a traditional tablet controller, but also gives you much more functionality. The Neat Pad can currently only be used as a controller in combination with Zoom; use with MS Teams is already in the works and will be added via a firmware update

However, the Neat Pad can also be used as a room booking display in front of a meeting or conference room. Add Neat Pad as a panel outside your meeting room for optimal room management. The Neat Pad thus allows you to book the room immediately on the spot, without having to first get out a PC or smartphone and search for the appropriate calendar. The LED display integrated into the side of the pad shows room availability even from a distance. A room booking display is a real relief in busy meeting rooms and equally shows a high level of professionalism.

The resolution of the Neat Pad is 1280x800 pixels, i.e. WXGA. This resolution is more than sufficient for an 8-inch display and is adapted to the content to be displayed. The display itself is anti-reflective and has a smudge-proof coating, so you can easily clean the tablet at any time without having to worry. As already known from the Neat Board, various sensors (temperature, humidity, CO2 and VOC) have also been integrated into the Neat Pad, but as of today, these are only compatible with Zoom. The brightness sensor automatically detects the room brightness and adjusts the brightness of the display accordingly. The back of the Neat Pad is angled so that you always have a perfect view of the display when it is placed on the table in front of you. The Neat Pad automatically detects whether it is being used in portrait or landscape format and adjusts the content to the respective format.

The Neat Pad comes with a wall mount and a side mount so that the Neat Pad can be mounted in / on a door frame, for example.
