The most important feature of video wall displays is the ability to install multiple units into one wall: each Samsung VM46B-U display has a 600 x 400 mm VESA hole, allowing you to use any bracket compatible with this standard. You must pay attention to two aspects: Firstly, the VESA standard and secondly, the maximum load capacity of the bracket (display weight for the VM46B-U: 15.7 kg). With the right mount, installation is very easy. You can mount the display really close to the wall thanks to its narrow depth of 6.9 cm. The result: a clean and professional appearance. You save space and can enhance business premises with the VM55B-R's high-quality design. For the installation of a 3x3 or larger video wall, we recommend a bracket with the option of fine adjustment and pop-out function. This makes it possible to quickly replace or repair individual monitors. The defective unit can simply be removed from the wall without having to dismantle it completely. In an installation with 2x2, for example, so-called menu boards are more suitable, where 2-5 displays are hung next to each other. In addition to the standard installation in landscape mode, the displays can also be operated in portrait mode. As mentioned at the beginning, the VM46B-U video wall display has a narrow bar of only 3.5 mm (2.25 mm top/left, 1.25 mm right/bottom). This means that when you combine several VM46B-U displays, you get an excellent picture without any annoying, thick bars between the displays. Especially if you want to show presentations or tables and text on a large scale, thick bars between the individual displays are more than counterproductive. The image is unattractively interrupted. With the VM46B-U, this negative feature is almost completely eliminated.

Samsung has carried out a comprehensive calibration so that you can use your video wall immediately. This factory calibration ensures that brightness and colours are uniformly matched on several displays. Now, of course, the requirements for a video wall depend on the areas of use and your personal setting preferences. However, Samsung also provides you with individual adjustment options here: With the free smartphone solution Samsung Color Expert Pro, even beginners can easily adjust the white balance of video walls up to 5x5 in size, and all without additional accessories. So you can easily recalibrate   and display your content just the way you want it. The Samsung VM46B-U is also designed for continuous use. The image quality of the VM46B-U is impressive with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, which can be expanded to a UHD image experience. With the daisy chain function, you can project UHD content on multiple screens (up to 5x5) via DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI connections. You don't even need an external graphics card or UHD splitter for this. The Signage Player Box is equipped with the latest MagicInfo Player in version S6. MagicInfo is a very comprehensive software with which you can, for example, create different user groups, create schedules for the presentation of your content and carry out remote control of the devices. It also allows you to create your own advertising content or distribute content to the entire video wall in no time at all. However, you can optimise the display of your content even further: With the help of the Picture Enhance Mode, you can adjust the colour saturation as well as the contrast ratio to obtain vivid and sharp images. Another feature: the Black Equalizer mode brightens up your darker images so that more details are visible - a great advantage especially with black and white images.

In addition, the VM46B-U is also convincing in rooms with normal lighting conditions, because it has a brightness of 500 cd/m². So if you have planned a room with a huge window front that is illuminated by the sun in summer and winter and brightens up the room massively, the brightness performance of the VM46B-U is a little too weak for that. In a room with normal brightness, dimming is not desired. 90% of all meeting and conference rooms are in this range. Even in retail and store environments, this brightness level is more than sufficient as long as the sun does not shine directly on the display. In addition, the glare-free panel guarantees a clear picture with brilliant colours without reflections. This gives you the option of installing the Samsung VM46B-U videowall displays even in places with ceiling spotlights and you do not have to reckon with a loss of content quality. Let's move on to the connections of the VM46B-U: in addition to two HDMI 2.0 connections, you also have a DisplayPort 1.2 and a USB 2.0 connection at your disposal. The outputs of the VM46B-U include a DisplayPort 1.2 connection for connecting the displays via daisy chain, an RS232C (In/Out) connection for controlling the display, an RJ45 connection for LAN connection and an audio output (3.5 mm). In addition, an infrared receiver has been integrated for flexible control of the display.
