The Samsung MagicInfo Unified Premium licence is suitable for Samsung displays with SOC 4 or higher. Samsung MagicInfo is an intelligent, intuitive content creation and content management solution available as standard for Samsung Display products with integrated SOC (System on a Chip). MagicInfo equips end users with a set of creative tools that make content creation and management much easier. They can perform a range of functions: From creating eye-catching digital signage content, to designing and managing a complex, interactive multimedia display system with touch support. Unlike external media players, you buy the Samsung MagicInfo Premium Unified licence only once and there are no more annual licence costs. A licence must be purchased for each display, just as would be necessary with external media players. With the MagicInfo Unified Premium licence, you no longer need to decide in advance whether you want to use the licence as Premium i, Premium S or with a signage box. After entering the licence, you can decide for yourself which variant you want to activate. This makes it much easier to use MagicInfo and gives you more flexibility.

The Samsung MagicInfo Unified Premium purchase licence is aimed at experienced customers who want to operate the MagicInfo server themselves in-house and can also provide their own hardware for this purpose. In addition, one must regularly schedule time for the security and maintenance of the server. Samsung MagicInfo is a web-based content management software that consists of the MagicInfo Server, the MagicInfo Author and the MagicInfo Player, thus combining to form a complete and professional solution:


The Samsung MagicInfo Server serves tomanage, supply content to, maintain and control all connected smart signage displays. It doesn't matter whether you use just one display or a Samsung video wall on site and then want to connect other Samsung digital signage displays from different series, only one server is required. The Samsung MagicInfo Server can be installed on any Windows computer and is therefore the basis that is always necessary and the first thing to set up. Via the server, you assign existing displays, create display groups, define schedules, transfer playlists to the displays and much, much more. The MagicInfo Server is also needed to set up employees or users who are allowed to access the server. A sophisticated rights management system helps you to define which user is allowed to do what.



Create a display group in the MagicInfo Server. In this way, several displays can be combined into one group, which then simultaneously display the assigned content. With the MagicInfo Premium licence, it would be possible for all displays to start synchronously with the playback. In the next step, you can set up complex schedules and playlists. You can even define on which days and at which time which content is to be displayed, even for weeks/months/years in advance. For special, one-off occasions, you can simply place an overlay over the already defined schedules. This overlay is then played only once and at the exact time specified, without you having to delete the actual schedule. Of course, you can also define the switch-on and switch-off times of all connected displays so that you do not have to switch on the displays manually every evening or morning and then start the desired content. For security reasons, you can also display the current "live image" of the respective display from a central location so that you can see at any time whether the correct content is actually being displayed without having to run to the display first. For monitoring all connected displays, warning messages can be set up at any time to notify the administrator by email in the event of a failure or if the display has been switched off. The possibilities are more than just manifold and are convincing at all times, even in sophisticated environments. Another advantage of the Premium licence is that you can remotely update the firmware of connected displays and, of course, you can also specify the desired installation period in advance.



With SamsungMagicInfo Author, you can create professional content quickly and easily. The WebAuthor can be called up directly via a browser and offers a useful basis for creating content quickly and easily. The MagicInfo Premium Author (Client) is available for all those who need even more functions and settings. The Premium Author is installed locally on one or more PCs. By the way, only those who have valid login data can access the MagicInfo Server or the MagicInfo Author. Security is a top priority in this case as well.



In both MagicInfo WebAuthor and Premium Author, you can choose from a variety of ready-made templates and widgets or create your own templates. The structure of the MagicInfo Premium Author is very reminiscent of PowerPoint and many functions can also be placed here by drag and drop. Simple "advertisements" are set up in a few minutes and can be loaded directly from the author onto the MagicInfo server. For example, you can create a display that shows a PDF, the current weather and a live clock, all on one display and at the same time. Another scenario would be to provide a greeting to guests and important customers, so use MagicInfo and a small Samsung display as a digital door sign. Another very popular application is the digital menu board in restaurants, snack bars, or even within the system gastronomy. Gone are the days when you have to paste over boards when prices change, or have to reprint them. With MagicInfo Premium Author, you can change this data within minutes. Of course, you can also display live streams, for example to transmit an event to connected displays. It would also be possible to display your own online shop at any time. To be able to display dynamic content that contains elements that change in real time, you need MagicInfo DataLink. With DataLink you can, among other things, integrate databases into MagcInfo and could thus, among other things, integrate departure times, production targets and production statuses. Delivery of the licence:

The Samsung MagicInfo Premium licence is sent by email after activation by Samsung. A return is excluded, as each licence must be booked to one user. If you wish, you can request a free trial licence for MagicInfo Premium in advance. Our customer service will be happy to help you with this

Notes on ordering:

If you already have a MagicInfo Premium licence, please inform us of this when purchasing, as subsequent licences must always be booked to the main licence. When ordering online, you can simply enter your previous licence in the comments field. A subsequent change is unfortunately no longer possible.

The Samsung MagicInfo Unified licence can only be used with MagicInfo Server 4.1 (Build 4101.8 or higher) and does not work for older releases.
