The Vision TC3 is a small but extremely powerful digital amplifier. Using the latest chip technology for low impedance digital amplifiers, the TC3 amp module outputs 2 x 25 W RMS (at 8 ohms). Two inputs with Phoenix connectors can be found on the rear panel and a mini-jack input on the front allows you to easily connect a laptop or mobile phone to the sound system Don't let the size fool you under any circumstances: The TC3 Amp can drive a load of 4 ohms, allowing you to drive up to four 8-ohm speakers (or two 4-ohm speakers). When power is applied, the TC3 Amp turns on by default and uses the last settings used. For applications in a hotel room or classroom , the Vision TC3 Amp can be set to revert to a specific preset (e.g. for input source and volume) each time it is switched on, so you would be protected from nasty surprises.
A simple, clear user interface makes the TC3 amplifier very easy to use. Switching on and off is done by pressing the rotary switch for a long time. Pressing once briefly to change the input is all that is needed to understand the system. The scope of delivery also includes a remote control and for integration with a control system such as the Techconnect Control, there are IR receivers on the front and additionally on the back. This means you don't even have to run to the wall connection panel if you want to make adjustments to the TC3. Note: This amplifier has no tone control. On the replacement remote controls from Vision there are tone buttons, but they do not work with this amplifier .
The TC3 only switches on when it detects a signal and deactivates itself when there is no signal. This not only saves the annoying switching on and off of the system, but also ensures low running costs. Digital amplifiers also have the advantage that they do not radiate heat, so there is no need for a bulky heat sink.
With detachable Phoenix connectors, even end users without technical knowledge are able to set up the TC3 . The mini-jack input is an added convenience, as it allows to simply connect a mini-jack cable to your notebook or tablet for short-notice meetings and access the room PA system. Speaker cables, as well as short input cables, are included for connecting to the back of adjacent input modules on the Techconnect. The TC3 is delivered to you in a 1-gang enclosure and can thus be integrated into matching parapet channels. Of course, fixed wall mounting is also possible at any time. Wall mounting would have the additional advantage of effectively preventing unintentional removal of the Vision TC3.
The scope of delivery includes a 1-gang installation housing (1-gang UK) with frame. Alternatively, it can be mounted in a 2-gang frame together with other Techconnect modules.
