Let's move on to connectivity: You can connect the ViewSonic IFP6550-5 to your school network at any time via a LAN interface. ViewSonic displays can be connected via LAN and all students can connect to the display wirelessly using Airplay, Miracast, etc. However, all devices must be on the same network. Are there any security concerns about the pre-installed Android operating system?

No. The installed Android operating system is encapsulated and users / users cannot simply install arbitrary apps. For example, access to Google's PlayStore is excluded, so neither teachers nor students could install apps on the display themselves.
