The PI6000-010 is a 1.00 metre long premium passive USB-C cable from PureLink's PureInstall series. It connects two devices with USB-C connection according to USB 3.2 (Gen 2x2) standard with a maximum data transfer rate of 20Gbps. Alternatively, it can also be used with USB4 devices and already supports the USB 4 Gen2x2 standard with 20Gbps. The nickel-plated USB-C connectors with gold-plated precision plug contacts are connected by high-purity copper conductors with triple shielding. The cable features E-Marker chipset and can be used as a charging cable for USB-C devices with USB Power Delivery with max. 5A / 20V / 100W or 3A / 5V / 15W without USB Power Delivery. It also supports DisplayPort Alt Mode for transferring data, AV streams with max. 8K / UltraHD-2 30Hz as well as power and control signals via a single connection.
The professional USB-C cables are E-marked and therefore support USB Power Delivery (USB PD) with up to 5A / 20V / 100W. They are also compatible with "DisplayPort Alt-Mode" and can therefore be used to transmit AV streams in addition to data and power transmission, provided the source and display device also support DP Alt-Mode. The transmission is done according to DisplayPort 1.4 / 1.2 Alt-Mode standard and supports resolutions up to 8K / UltraHD-2 with 30Hz. When transmitting DisplayPort 1.4 AV signals via Alt-Mode, the cables support a maximum of the simultaneous data rate of the USB 2.0 specification. A full data rate can be achieved if the simultaneous AV resolution corresponds to the DisplayPort 1.2 specification. USB Alt-Mode also enables the connection of USB docking stations with multiple USB and separate AV ports and USB Power Delivery.
The PI6000 USB-C cable range from PureLink's PureInstall series is designed to connect devices with USB-C ports. The cables enable data transfer via USB at up to 20Gbps and comply with various USB 3.2 SuperSpeed standards. The cables in the range are equipped with USB-C connectors (PI6000) on both sides. They have a nickel-plated plug housing and gold-plated precision plug contacts. The USB-C plug can be used on both sides, so there is no need to pay attention to the plug direction. The cables themselves are triple-shielded and equipped with inner conductors made of high-purity copper. All cables are of course also downward compatible with the older USB 2.0 / 1.1 specification.
