For this purpose, the Sharp/NEC ME501 is equipped with ultra-high 4K resolution with 3840 x 2160 pixels and a brightness of 400 cd/m². This makes it suitable for rooms and places of use without direct sunlight, such as in the entrance area of a company to greet business partners and customers, making them feel welcome straight away. Or you can use it as a menu board to display the selection of your food and drinks. The HDR compatibility of the ME501 ensures vivid and natural images and videos.

Basically, the Sharp/NEC MultiSync ME501 is equipped with an integrated USB MediaPlayer. This means that your digital signage content can be played back in Ultra HD quality directly from a USB stick (via USB 2.0 connection). No annoying additional cables or digital signage software programmes are necessary. This is simple and saves time and money. Sometimes there is the case that a failure can occur and the content is no longer shown on the display. This is why Sharp/NEC has the Input Detect function for the ME501: it allows you to prioritise up to three input sources that the display can then access if a main signal source ever fails. The display then switches automatically according to your defined prioritisation. The First Detect Option also ensures that the display switches on automatically when a source is connected and the display thus receives a synchronised signal.

Let's move on to the installation of the Sharp/NEC ME501. The display   can be installed in portrait format (landscape) as well as in landscape format (portrait) . For mounting, you can use the VESA standard 400 x 400 mm and the weight of 17.3 kg as a guide.
