With the ME403U professional LCD lamp projector from NEC, you can make meetings, lessons and lectures more appealing, as the LCD projector is equipped with a brightness of up to 4000 ANSI lumens. In addition to outstanding image quality, the ME403U also guarantees a long service life of up to 20,000 hours with low maintenance requirements. The NEC ME403U projector offers optimum mounting options and can be easily adjusted to the existing projection surface with its 1.6x zoom range. The LCD technology impresses with its natural-looking, high-contrast colours. The horizontal and vertical keystone correction ensures flexibility during installation. With the integrated NEC MultiPresenter function, up to 16 devices can be integrated via USB connection. Reduce administration effort: Manage your connected devices from a central location with the NaViSet Administrator 2 software.
Lamp-based projector with low maintenance requirementsThe
NEC ME403U projector is a lamp-based projector. The lamp offers the advantage that it can be easily replaced by any user in the event of a defect due to its modular design. Above all, a projector with a lamp guarantees lower purchase costs compared to laser projectors. The lamp life of the ME403U is 10,000 hours (20,000 hours in eco mode).
LCD technology, high brightness and resolution for perfect image reproductionThe
NEC ME403U ensures vivid colours and a high-contrast display with its proven LCD quality. You will impress your audience with perfect readability even in the back rows. The ME403U has 3700 Ansi lumens in normal mode and can reach up to 4000 Ansi lumens in boost mode. In addition, the projector offers a WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200) and a contrast ratio of 16,000:1. With a higher resolution than Full HD, WUXGA offers a larger viewing area for engineering graphics, Excel spreadsheets or PowerPoint presentations and is therefore perfect for your everyday business or school work.
Projection ratio, keystone correctionA
large zoom range and horizontal and vertical keystone correction complete the performance spectrum. The ME403U projector offers you both vertical (+/-30°) and horizontal (+/-30°) manual keystone correction. With a projection ratio of 1.2 - 2:1, you can install the NEC ME403U at a distance of at least 0.75 to a maximum of 12.88 metres from the screen.
Network managementThe
NEC ME403U projector also offers the option of connecting to NaViSet Administrator 2. The classic connection to the company network is made via a standard LAN cable. With the embedded NEC MultiPresenter function, wireless presentations and screen sharing are possible for up to 16 devices simultaneously, without any configuration effort. Crestron media control, you can call up the full range of functions of your projector at the touch of a button. Using a simple touchscreen that is fully integrated into your meeting room equipment, you can control the entire technical infrastructure in your meeting room. You have better things to do than search for remote controls or connect cables under conference tables: Impress your audience with professionalism and efficiency.
ConnectivityThe
ME403U has two HDMI inputs (with HDCP), 1x RCA connection, 1 x USB type B, 1 x type A (USB 2.0) and 1 VGA input. The projector has an integrated 16 watt mono loudspeaker, with which you would already be equipped for presentations or museum exhibitions. You can connect additional speakers or a microphone to the projector via the audio input and output (3.5 mm). The ME403U can also be integrated into existing room control solutions at any time via the RS232 port.
NEC grants you a 3-year guarantee on the ME403U lamp projector. The guarantee is limited to 25,000 operating hours. Wearing parts excluded. The light source is guaranteed for 6 months, up to a maximum of 1000 hours.
Conclusion: The NEC ME403U is an affordable projection solution with low total cost of ownership, thanks to its relatively long lamp life and filter replacement intervals, and low power consumption. The pre-installed MultiPresenter function allows you to present wirelessly.
