Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub 500 - Conference All-in-One Solution - Optimised for Zoom Rooms - Bundle incl. Huddly IQ Conference Camera

With the ThinkSmart Hub 500, Lenovo has launched a conference system that leaves nothing to be desired. The complete solution has been specially adapted to Zoom Rooms and enables video or voice conferences with just a single click. The 11.6-inch touch panel makes it easy to control everything with your finger, no matter whether you want to start or end a conference, add participants or present your content from a connected PC, every activity is smooth and simple. The ThinkSmart Hub 500 is a standalone system that does not require an additional PC. The software is based on Windows 10 and after a short initial set-up, you are on your Zoom Rooms interface and can get started straight away. This variant is a complete package including the popular Huddly IQ video conferencing cameraso you're ready for your meetings.

The Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub 500 has all the important components integrated that are necessary for a conference. In addition to the optimised 4 watt Dual Dolby Audio Premium stereo speakers, two dual-array microphones have been built into the Think Smart Hub 500, ensuring ideal audio reproduction and transmission in small and medium-sized meeting rooms. The microphone has a coloured LED indicator, which is located between the speaker and the computing unit, so that you always know whether a conference is taking place (green light) or not (white light). If you do not want the other person to hear what you are discussing, you can of course switch the microphone to mute (red light). Sufficient computing power is provided by the 7th generation i5 processor, which guarantees smooth conference proceedings and fluid touch control. The display is ensured by the Intel HD 630 graphics chipset, which has enough power for the visual display of content in full HD quality. Sufficient space for your contact data and shortest access times are available thanks to the very fast 128 GB SSD hard disk, making your meeting a real success.

In the meantime, security has become a major issue in every company. Lenovo has also thought of this with the ThinkSmart Hub 500 and integrated the so-called Lenovo ThinkShield. This solution fully protects your data and your privacy so that unauthorised persons have no chance of accessing this sensitive information. Furthermore, Lenovo relies on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise for the ThinkSmart Hub 500, which additionally ensures intelligent enterprise-class protection.

A so-called cable tangle is an absolute no-go for anyone who values a professional look. For this reason, Lenovo has provided the ThinkSmart Hub 500 with a first-class cable management system that allows cables to be neatly routed and at the same time prevents them from being accidentally pulled out.

Of course, the ThinkSmart Hub 500 also offers a large number of connections so that the cable management just mentioned also makes sense. For example, the conference solution has an HDMI input including a capture card, which you can use to connect a notebook to the ThinkSmart Hub 500. Furthermore, the system offers two HDMI outputs. You can use these to connect up to two display devices (displays / projectors) to the unit. Of course, you also have space for a total of four USB devices (version 3.0 generation 1) and a LAN connection for integration into your company network. A WLAN module (2x2 AC Intel Wireless-AC 8265) has also been thought of for wireless network connection. A Bluetooth 4.2 unit is also on board. The range of connections is rounded off by a 3.5 mm stereo jack connection.

The Huddly IQ video conferencing camera



The Huddly IQ room kit is an ingenious video conferencing camera for small to medium-sized conference rooms and is therefore perfect for use in conjunction with the Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub 500. In addition to the camera itself, a 2.0m USB cable is of course also included in the scope of delivery so that your setup lacks nothing. The Huddly IQ is able to capture all persons and objects within a viewing angle of max. 150 degrees and adjust the image to the corresponding number of persons. The image section is adjusted in such a way that the display is optimally centred during the video conference. If only one person is visible, the Huddly IQ zooms in on the person so that the person can be seen in the best possible way. As soon as more people are added, the camera's intelligence reacts immediately and adjusts the image accordingly. All this is completely automated.

Another very useful feature of the Huddly IQ is the possibility to analyse the data via an evaluation system such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Power BI or Azure. The analysed data can then be used to determine, among other things, how many people have used the room on a given day or at what times most people are present.
