The FiberX FX-I545-030 - USB-A / USB-B AOC fibre optic cable is a high-quality USB cable for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient solution for video transmission. But what if the video conference camera in the conference room needs to be connected to an AV rack located more than 20 metres away in another room? With its technology, FiberX offers a solution to ensure full bandwidth even over long distances. To do this, FiberX uses a mixture of fibre optic cables for data transmission and copper for the power supply, known as AOC (Active Optical Cable). This allows distances of up to 30 metres to be realised without any problems.
Special design for PTZ cameras on USB 3.1 standard
This cable has been specially designed for use with video conferencing cameras with at least USB 3.1 standard. It is not compatible with older standards, such as USB 2.0. The FiberX USB cable supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 and is capable of transferring data at an impressive speed of up to 10Gbps.
Gold-plated USB-A plug to USB-B plug
The cable has gold-plated USB-A plugs to USB-B plugs, which ensure excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance.
Full metal housing (USB-A), with EMI protection, low attenuation, no external power supply required
The cable has a full metal housing (on the USB-A plug) and is equipped with EMI protection. It has low attenuation and does not require an external power supply.
Hybrid cable, unidirectional
The FiberX cable is a hybrid cable and unidirectional. This means that data is only transmitted in one direction.
The small cable diameter of just 4.5 mm enables an extremely tight bending radius
The small cable diameter of just 4.5 mm enables an extremely tight bending radius of up to 45 mm (static) or 90 mm (dynamic). This makes it particularly suitable for routing / installation in confined environments, such as the rear of a rack.
