The iiyama WP II960A presentation system is designed specifically for medium and large meeting rooms in the business sector. The system works with Miracast and Apple protocols, enabling uncomplicated, interference-free screen mirroring from your Windows, Apple and Android devices. The function requires neither an app nor a cable. With a single click or swipe, connect your mobile device to the room display or projector via the WP II960A. The extended desktop keeps device use for other actions during the presentation, and interactive touch display support brings collaboration to the connected room display. For remote management of the iiyama WP II960A or all other iiyama WP II960A ScreenBeam device types, free Central Management System (CMS) software is included to provide enterprise-level security and manageability needed by IT departments.
The iiyama WP II960A is a true plug-and-play presentation system for wireless full HD streaming. Teachers use the iiyama presentation system to wirelessly connect themselves and, of course, students in the classroom for easy collaboration. Whether you're using a display or projector in a classroom or conference room, the iiyama system connects easily to any device via HDMI and USB. Presenters can control their content from anywhere in the room and interact with all participants, improving collaboration, interaction and productivity in meetings. With support for Miracast technology standards, Windows device users benefit from an enhanced desktop, as well as touch display and Windows Ink support, so annotations on the touch display are instantly captured and stored on the presenter's device.
The biggest issue that every conference or meeting organiser knows is that each participant has a different device, whether laptop, tablet or smartphone, which would require extensive cabling and set-up. The effort and preparation time here would be enormously time-consuming. With the iiyama WP II960A system, you solve this problem in a simple and efficient way.
Unlike other wireless display options, the iiyama WP II960A natively supports the Miracast standard built into Windows, allowing presenters to wirelessly duplicate content on their screen to a display as well as use the extended desktop. In extended mode, a single 'extended' screen is created between your device and the wireless display. Now the desktop and icon images are displayed on your notebook, desktop or tablet, while the background image (or wallpaper) is expanded to the second display. This allows you to interact with different content on each display. Use the expansion mode whenever you anticipate needing your device for other actions, such as quickly accessing your web browser or taking an important call! The extended desktop is also a popular feature when preparing for the next presentation, as it allows you to work on the PC while the extended desktop is still displaying the current presentation.
The iiyama WP II960A has been specially designed to meet the needs and requirements of modern businesses. It provides a reliable connection even when other wireless systems are not working properly due to congested wireless networks. The WP II960A offers IT access control, high configurability and easy management of existing iiyama presentation systems at all times. These points in particular are often necessary in schools and companies and make the IT department's daily work much easier.
This fully integrated enterprise-class platform features Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, VGA in and VGA out interfaces. The VGA input offers you the possibility of including older devices in the presentation via cable. The WLAN standards 802.1a/b/g/n 7bnd 802.11ac ensure smooth wireless transmission without delays or long buffering in both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency ranges. The maximum range is 8m between transmitter and receiver. Although the system operates in the WLAN standard, simultaneous operation of multiple systems within a building is no problem. The iiyama WP II960A has a built-in Ethernet port and a secondary wireless adapter for connecting to an infrastructure network.
iOS users connected to the iiyama WP II960A on the network via corporate Wi-Fi can simply open the Control Centre on the Apple device by swiping up from the bottom of the screen or inwards from the top right corner of the screen, tap the Screen Mirroring button and select the iiyama WP 960A's name on the screen at the front of the room. MacOS users simply click on the screen mirroring icon and click on the name of the WP 960A on the screen in the front of the room.
