Let's start with a promising feature of the LDP216-251 Direct-View LED display: easy installation. The ViewSonic LDP216-251 can be installed on the wall or on a stand. Mounting on a stand sometimes offers more flexibility, especially  if you want to use the wall in other rooms or if the wall is not strong enough. While there are manufacturers who offer smaller displays of this size in a continuous format, the modular design of the LDP216-251 has the ability to be disassembled, so even narrow stairwells, doorways and lifts are not a problem. When wall-mounted, the LDP216-251 is fixed with the help of a wall bracket. The modular construction is made possible by only a few sub-assemblies: there are 8 cabinets and several LED modules that can be assembled by only 2 people within approximately 2 hours. The cabinets are securely connected to each other by means of locking bolts. The cabinets are then connected to the system control box using the appropriate connection cables. Then you attach the LED modules to ensure a seamless display experience. Another useful feature is the automatic configuration and calibration of each module: You can automatically align position and setting values within the display. Worried about what would happen if the panel ever broke and you had to replace the whole display? Thanks to hot-swappable front LED modules, you don't have to worry about excessive costs here, because individual defective modules can be replaced.

The ViewSonic LDP216-251 display shows your pictures and videos in excellent Full HD resolution with 1920 x 1080 pixels. In addition, the LDP216-251 has a pixel pitch of 2.50 mm. By this we mean the distance between the individual pixels (pixels). The smaller this distance, the closer the viewer can stand in front of the display and still see a clear picture. This is an advantage especially for conference and reception rooms, because no matter where employees or customers are standing, they can easily recognise and see the display and the corresponding content from any position. In addition, the LDP216-251 has a refresh rate of up to 4440 Hz. ViewSonic's proprietary Cinema SuperColor+ technology also boasts a wider 120% colour gamut (Rec. 709) for lifelike colours and stunning images. The LDP216-251 LED display scores with an attractive visualisation in a large format. It has a depth of 2.5 cm and a 5 mm bezel-less edge, making full use of the screen area to achieve an absolute picture experience. You get seamless picture results that can otherwise only be achieved with a projector. While a projector for larger rooms would be more cost-effective, this also comes with disadvantages: a room with a lot of external or sunlight, for example, needs a projector that is very powerful. With a brightness of 600 cd/m², which the LDP216-251 offers, a projector would be relatively expensive, would have a very powerful and therefore noisy fan, which is an annoying side effect, especially at conferences, and would never deliver as high-quality an image as the ViewSonic LDP216-251 does. This is where the use of displays really brings you clear advantages: even in high room brightness, the LED display can show you impressive images. Especially in lobbies and conference rooms, there is usually a large window front that cannot be darkened: With automatic brightness adjustment thanks to ambient light detection, the LDP216-251 offers relief when we think of changeable April weather, for example. What also makes LED technology special are the impressive black levels that can be achieved. In contrast to LCD displays, no residual backlight shines through here to soften the black and make it look brighter. With the ViewSonic LDP216-251 LED display, on the other hand, black pixels are actually black. What's more, the LDP216-251 offers a contrast ratio of 6000:1, which means sharper and more homogeneous images and better illumination, i.e. excellent picture quality.

With the LDP216-251 Direct View LED display, smart, intelligent conferences can also be realised quite smoothly. The display has the Android 9.0 operating system, which many users know from their mobile phones or tablets. Thanks to the Android operating system, you no longer necessarily need a PC. For example, you can download an office app of your choice via the integrated Android PC and then open and edit documents without a PC at hand. With the Android operating system, you can install any apps from the Google PlayStore, browse the web and play multimedia files. The display is equipped with 64GB of internal memory (56GB actually available).

At the beginning, we already mentioned the all-in-one design of the ViewSonic LDP216-251. In addition to its impressive size and outstanding picture quality, the LDP216-251 also comes with the pre-installed ViewBoard® Cast screen sharing software. This makes it possible for several presenters at a meeting to stream content wirelessly or wired. It makes no difference whether they use smartphones, laptops or tablets. Content can be streamed from devices running Windows/Mac/Chrome OS. So nothing stands in the way of your conference or team meeting: while you display your concept or company business on the screen, another team member can show the matching pictures, videos or other content, for example. The possibilities are not enough? Then the LDP216-251's ports also give you other connectivity options. You can easily connect your laptop to the display via HDMI. Connect to the Internet via an RJ45 cable or the integrated WiFi function and use your familiar PC environment. The display is equipped with the usual connections: You have the large number of six HDMI connections (HDMI 2.1 x 1, HDMI2.0 x 2, HDMI 1.4 x 2, HDMI 2.0 internal x1), three USB-A (USB 2.0 3x) and 1 RJ45 input at your disposal. There is also an audio output (3.5 mm) with 1 USB-A (power) and 2 HDMI outputs (HDMI 2.0 external 1x, internal 1x).

The LDP216-251 makes it easy for you to display multiple content on a single screen. The display can support picture-by-picture (up to 4 different inputs) or picture-in-picture scenarios (one screen inside another screen) in real time*. This gives you more flexibility for your next video conference or online collaboration.

The ViewSonic LDP216-251 has also been designed with high-quality sound in mind: It's equipped with two Harman Kardon 20-watt speakers, offering high-fidelity audio performance tuned for clear sound no matter where you're standing. And it's also practical if you want to roll the LDP216-251 into another room, for example, because you already have your speakers with you and don't have to worry about an additional audio installation.

The integrated HDBT receiver can receive uncompressed high-definition 1080p multimedia content from a distance of up to 100 m via an inexpensive Cat.5e/6 single network cable. The display is also compatible with any certified HDBaseT transmitter, enabling powerful playback of content over an AV signal. This saves you a lot of time during installation. This allows you to supply content from a central location while managing and controlling the display.

In addition to all these features, ViewSonic has also paid attention to the exterior of the LDP216-251: In addition to the slim frame, seamless design and clean cabinet installation, the LDP216-251's system control box can be detached. To do so, simply separate the control box from the LED display to achieve a screen-to-body ratio of almost 99% that blends harmoniously with any décor.
