The IFP4320 uses advanced in-cell touch technology and has 10 touch points. This touch technology offers advantages in terms of writing performance on the display because the panel and protective glass are bonded directly together without an air gap. This means that there is no perceptible gap between the protective glass and the display, which is often referred to as direct bonding. This gives the impression that when you touch the touchscreen, you are writing directly on the surface. The result: very high accuracy and a natural writing feel. You get a smooth and responsive experience every time you tap, zoom in and swipe with the IFP4320.

What's more, the interactive display has a 4K UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, so images, documents and videos can be displayed with even more detail and subtlety. A brightness of 350 ^cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 1000:1 also ensure an excellent picture experience. Are there any security concerns about the pre-installed Android operating system?

No. The installed Android operating system is encapsulated and users/applicants cannot simply install arbitrary apps. For example, access to Google's PlayStore is excluded, so neither teachers nor students could install apps on the display themselves. Only by installing apps would the Android operating system become insecure. From this point of view: although Android serves as the basis for the IFP4320 display from ViewSonic - so that you have a wide range of functions and possibilities even without an external PC or slot-in PC - it is self-sufficient and therefore cannot be compared with the problems and risks that mobile phone users can have with the Android operating system. The operating system is not accessible from outside and thus meets all the important criteria for secure operation.

The myViewBoard is located in a cloud. Is that allowed at all and how secure is it?

The topic of "cloud" still has a very negative connotation in Germany. Basically, we Germans are initially sceptical about things that we cannot control ourselves. For us, the issues of security, protection of intellectual property and the fear of high costs have always been at the top of the list. But in the meantime, cloud services have become almost indispensable and the market has developed enormously.
