Everyone knows that advertising only works if it is seen. With the ViewSonic CDE9830 large format display, you have a perfect professional solution at hand. The 98-inch screen definitely catches everyone's eye and the built-in SuperClear® IPS panel with its 4K resolution automatically ensures high visibility of your advertising content. IPS displays are especially known for wide viewing angles and natural, highly accurate colours, and thanks to the UHD resolution, every image and video becomes even better. The SuperClear® IPS panel of the ViewSonic CDE9830 is anti-reflective (Haze 25%) and has a hardened surface (3H) for greater durability.

You want to give your employees or guests the possibility to present their content directly on the 98 inch display from their own device via Miracast or Airplay? With the optional ViewSonic WiFi module VB-WIFI-005 or an optional OPS PC from the VPC2x-Wxx-O1-1B slot-in PC series, ViewSonic offers you a perfect solution for this. Another way of sharing content from your smartphone, tablet or notebook for display on the large screen is via the Internet browser. No set-up is required as long as the ViewSonic display and the employee's or guest's own device are on the same network. You can also wirelessly include MacOS and iOS devices in the presentation via the ViewBoard Cast content sharing software.

The ViewSonic CDE9830 is, as already mentioned, more than just a display device and with its integrated functions, the display makes your everyday life much easier, be it in companies, schools and also in other business areas. For example, the CDE9830 supports various remote configuration and content management systems and is therefore also suitable for information zones in retail or gastronomy or for signage in public authorities, etc. The display is equipped with three HDMI inputs, one of which also supports ARC (audio return channel), i.e. remote control signals can be transmitted to connected HDMI devices via the HDMI cable. In this way, DVD players, sound systems and other input devices that are out of sight can be controlled directly with the remote control of the display.

Especially in this day and age, video conferencing is an important topic and the ViewSonic CDE9830 display can also support you here. For example, simply connect the optional ViewSonic Webcam VB-CAM-001 with the signage display and you can hold your video meetings with outstanding picture and sound quality. To do this, you can either use the integrated Android operating system on which you install your video conferencing software, or you can use an optional ViewSonic OPS PC and install the software of your choice on the Windows operating system and use the webcam connected to the display. The VB-CAM-001 has an integrated microphone and, thanks to noise reduction, your counterpart will understand you in the best possible quality. Wide Dynamic Range as well as backlight compensation ensure high and clear visibility for all participants. The ViewSonic VB-CAM-001 has a coverage area of 120° and streams your videos in FullHD resolution.

For faster viewing of your content, the ViewSonic display also has a high connection diversity. Of course, you can also display images and videos on the display in the traditional way. There is even an integrated media player for this purpose. Either load your media files onto the internal memory or simply insert a USB stick into the device and play videos, music or pictures directly via the stick. This gives you enormous flexibility and you are always prepared for changing requirements. The ViewSonic CDE9830 display can be connected to the Internet via the RJ45 connection or via the optionally available ViewSonic WiFi module VB-WIFI-005 or an optional ViewSonic OPS PC. In addition to the WiFi slot, the ViewSonic display also has an OPS slot. However, you do not have to decide whether to use the WiFi module or the slot-in PC, simply integrate both devices into the CD9830 and you have a fully-fledged all-in-one solution.

To ensure that your advertising is not only seen but also heard, two 10 watt speakers have been built into the ViewSonic display, which are more than sufficient for most users. Optionally, of course, you can also connect external speakers to the display via S/PDIF (optical), which is a sensible solution in large conference and meeting rooms. The management and control of the display is possible via LAN but also via RS232.

The ViewSonic CDE9830 display can be mounted in landscape or portrait format. The VESA standard of the display is 800 x 600 mm and the weight of the display is 69.4 kg. The ViewSonic CDE9830 is a great interactive display with many functions and possibilities, also due to the extensive software tools already included. The display is not only suitable for business or school use, but also for multi-screen setups in hotels, restaurants, sports bars and at the POS. Of course, we did not ignore the price of the display in our test. All in all, the CDE9830 is an all-round successful display and thus a real insider's tip for the small purse.
