The Sony SRG-X400 4K IP PTZ video conferencing camera captures every angle with superb image quality, boasts an easy-to-use design and is ideal for modern IP-based production environments. Use the versatile SRG-X400 remote PTZ camera in classrooms, meeting rooms, medical facilities, stadiums, studios, lecture halls and even church facilities. The Sony SRG-X400 camera's advanced 1/2.5" Exmor-R CMOS sensor delivers detailed 4K images, excellent light sensitivity, greatly reduced image noise and rich, natural colour reproduction. The SRG-X400 camera's built-in, high-resolution lens has a powerful 30x zoom at 4K (40x at Full HD): giving the camera comprehensive 70° wide-angle coverage to capture detailed close-ups and wide shooting angles.

Fast-motion preset and Picture Freeze functionCapture
every movement of the presenter with a maximum pan and tilt speed of 300°/s when recalling presets. The Picture Freeze function of the SRG-X400 PTZ camera gives you a shake-free image as the camera moves to a new preset position - with no distracting transitions. With smooth, fast and silent movements between preset camera positions, switching between multiple speakers in different areas of the room is no longer a problem. For example, use the SRG-X400 camera in conjunction with the AI-based REA-C1000 Edge analytics solution (available as an option) to track the speaker's movements and automatically create a cropped image of the speaker.
Seamless transitions thanks to pan, tilt and zoom function
The PTZ Motion Sync* function easily combines separate pan, tilt and zoom movements for seamless, professional-looking transitions. The Sony SRG-X400 can pan up to ±170° and tilt +90°/-20°. The Sony SRG-X400 camera records at 3840 x 2160 pixels, which is 4K at 30FPS. The smallest details can be brought out perfectly, thanks to 30x zoom in 4K and 40x zoom in Full HD. The SRG-X400 PTZ camera works with Clear Image Zoom: Clear Image Zoom uses Sony's By Pixel Super Resolution technology and allows you to enlarge the image with almost the same image quality as the original. The camera first zooms optically to the maximum optical magnification and then uses Clear Image Zoom technology to magnify the image a further two times, producing sharp, clear images despite the increased zoom factor. Another plus point is the built-in autofocus, as this ensures that there is no blurring when there is movement.

Flexible and efficient IP-based
productionImages can also be viewed remotely via a web browser. RTSP* (Real Time Streaming Protocol), RTMP* (Real Time Messaging Protocol) and SRT* (Secure Reliable Transport) enable smooth and stable streaming of video and audio over an IP network. This means that video can be streamed directly from the camera to an online streaming service; all you need is an optional microphone and you're ready to go. With the new Picture Setting File feature, installation and setup is simple and the same settings can be applied to multiple cameras via a web interface from a laptop or PC.

Sony SRG-X400 is very easy and user-friendly to install: a single network cable supplies power to the camera and allows video and control signals to be output. This also reduces cabling costs. With the new Picture Setting File* function, the same camera settings can be quickly applied to multiple cameras.
