Let's start with one of the most important factors for video wall displays: every Samsung VM55C-R display has a VESA hole pattern of 600 x 400 mm, so you can use any mount that is compatible with this standard. You need to pay attention to two aspects: Firstly, the VESA standard and secondly, the maximum load capacity of the mount (display weight for the VM55C-R: 16.8 kg). With the right mount, installation is then very easy. Thanks to its narrow depth of 6.99 cm, you can mount the display really close to the wall. This ensures a clean and professional appearance, you save space and you can beautify business premises with the high-quality design of the VM55C-R. For the installation of a 3x3 video wall or larger, we recommend a mount with the option of fine adjustment and a pop-out function. This enables individual monitors to be replaced or repaired quickly. The defective device can simply be removed from the wall without having to dismantle it completely. In a 2x2 installation, for example, so-called menu boards are more suitable, where 2-5 displays are hung next to each other. In addition to the standard installation in landscape mode (landscape format), the displays can also be operated in portrait mode (portrait format).

Samsung is definitely setting new standards in this sector with the extremely narrow bar of just 0.44 mm. That's just 0.88 mm from frame to frame: this means that when you combine several VM55C-R displays, you get an excellent picture without any annoying, thick bars between the displays. Thick bars between the individual displays are more than counterproductive, especially if you want to display presentations or show tables and text in a large frame. The image is unattractively interrupted. With the VM55C-R, this negative feature is almost completely eliminated.

Samsung has carried out a comprehensive calibration so that you can use your video wall straight away. This factory calibration ensures that the brightness and colours on several displays are uniformly adjusted. Of course, the requirements for a video wall depend on the area of use and your personal preferences. However, Samsung also provides you with individual customisation options here: With the free smartphone solution Samsung Colour Expert Pro, even beginners can easily adjust the white balance of video walls up to 3x3 in size, and all without additional accessories. This allows you to recalibrate at low cost and display your content exactly as you want it. The Samsung VM55C-R is also designed for continuous use. This means you can use your video wall 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and present your products around the clock.

The image quality of the VM55C-R is impressive with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, which can be expanded to a UHD image experience. With the daisy chain function, you can project UHD content on multiple screens (up to 5x5) via DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI connections. You don't even need an external graphics card or UHD splitter for this.

However, you can optimise the display of your content even further: Using the Picture Enhancer mode, you can adjust the colour saturation as well as the contrast ratio to achieve vivid and sharp images. Another feature: the Black Equaliser mode brightens up your darker images so that more details can be seen, which is a great advantage, especially with black and white images.

The VM55C-R is also impressive in rooms with normal lighting conditions, as it has a brightness of 500 cd/m². So if you have planned a room with a huge window front, which is illuminated by the sun in summer and winter and brightens up the room massively, then the brightness performance of the VM55C-R is a little too weak for this. In a room with normal brightness, dimming is not desired. 90% of all meeting and conference rooms can be found in this area. This brightness value is also more than sufficient in retail and store areas as long as the sun cannot shine directly on the display. The glare-free panel also guarantees a clear picture with brilliant colours and no reflections. This means that you can also install the Samsung VM55C-R video wall displays in locations with ceiling spotlights and do not have to reckon with a loss of content quality. This is an enormous advantage at trade fairs or in the rental sector, for example, because you remain flexible in terms of use, especially if you find it difficult to assess the conditions on site beforehand.

This box combines tools for information processing and content management in just one platform.
