Let's start with the installation: Every Samsung VH55C-R display has a VESA hole pattern of 600x400 mm, which means you can use any mount that is compatible with this standard. You can find suitable mountshere in our shop. You must pay attention to two aspects: Firstly, the VESA standard and secondly, the maximum load capacity of the mount (display weight VH55C-R: 16.8 kg). With the right mount, installation is then a breeze . Thanks to its narrow depth of 6.99 cm , you can mount the display close to the wall for a clean and professional appearance. This means you save space and can enhance business premises with the high-quality design of the VH55C-R. For installation, we also recommend a bracket with the option of fine adjustment and a pop-out function. This enables individual monitors to be replaced or repaired quickly. You can simply remove the defective device from the wall without having to dismantle it completely. In addition to the standard landscape installation (landscape format), the displays can also be operated in portrait mode (portrait format). The content is automatically rotated.
The picture quality of the VH55C-R is impressive with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, which can be expanded to an Ultra HD picture experience. With the daisy chain function, you can project Full HD content on up to 10x10 displays and UHD content on up to 5x5 displays with a refresh rate of 60 Hz via DisplayPort 1.2. You don't even need an external graphics card or UHD splitter for this. The VH55C-R also impresses in rooms with difficult lighting conditions and direct light, as it has a brightness of 700 cd/m². The glare-free IPS panel also guarantees a clear picture with brilliant colours and no reflections. The Samsung VH55C-R video wall displays are therefore also ideal for installation in locations with ceiling spotlights and do not have to worry about a loss of content quality. This is an enormous advantage at trade fairs or in the rental sector, for example, because you remain flexible in terms of use, especially if you find it difficult to assess the conditions on site beforehand. However, you can optimise the presentation of your content even further: Using the Picture Enhancer mode, you can adjust the colour saturation and contrast ratio to achieve vivid and sharp images.
What definitely sets new standards for Samsung in this sector is the extremely narrow bezel of just 0.44 mm. That's just 0.88 mm from frame to frame: this means that when you combine several VH55C-R displays you get an excellent picture without any annoying, thick bars between the displays. This is a huge advantage for many companies, as excessively thick frames lead to unsightly interruptions in the image during presentations or when displaying tables and text. With the VH55C-R, this negative feature is almost completely eliminated.
Now you have installed your VH55C-R and know about the picture quality. Samsung has carried out a comprehensive calibration so that you can use your video wall displays immediately. This factory calibration ensures that the brightness and colours on several displays are uniformly adjusted. Advantage: You can use your video wall immediately after switching it on for the first time. The requirements for a video wall naturally depend on the areas of use and your personal preferences. However, Samsung also provides you with individual customisation options here: With the free smartphone solution Samsung Colour Expert Pro, even beginners can easily adjust the white balance of video walls up to 3x3 in size, and all without additional accessories. This allows you to recalibrate at low cost and display your content exactly as you want it. The Samsung VH55C-R is also designed for continuous use. This means you can use your video wall 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and present your products around the clock.
If you would like to manage and create your content conveniently via a server, Samsung offers you the ideal solution with the optionally available Signage Player Box, which you can order from our shop. This box combines information processing tools and content management in just one platform. What is particularly promising for us is that you can use this box to connect not only Samsung devices, but also displays from other manufacturers. The Samsung Signage Player Box is equipped with MagicInfo Player Version S6. MagicInfo is a very comprehensive software, with which you can use, for example, to create different user groups, create schedules for presenting your content and remotely control devices . The creation of your own advertising content or the distribution of content to the entire video wall can also be realised in no time at all. The Samsung VH55C-R can be used in a wide range of applications: whether at an airport, lobby, museum or control room - in combination with the Signage Player Box, it offers you customised and versatile display options. In terms of connectivity, the VH55C-R has 1 DVI-D port, DisplayPort 1.2 input and output for connecting the displays via daisy chain, 1 USB port (only for firmware updates), 2 HDMI ports (HDCP 2.2), RS-232C (In/Out) port for controlling the display and an RJ45 port for LAN connection as well as audio input and output (3.5 mm).
