Let's start with the new features of the Samsung QM43B from the QMB series: The professional display can also be used for video conferencing. You can use the video call application to connect with your colleagues and start team meetings. The QM43B has integrated video conferencing solutions that support all common web conferencing apps. You can install the video call application via a firmware update (from quarter 2/2022). The only thing you will then need in addition to the Samsung QM43B is a video conferencing camera*, which you can integrate via the USB port. This turns the next team meeting or brainstorming session into an active exchange of information and ideas: Decisions can be made more quickly, as even employees working from home or in the branch office in London can be involved.

The MagicInfo Player is compatible with many web formats and standards. Samsung has also integrated Dynamic Crystal Color technology into this QMB series, which achieves a wider colour spectrum and thus realistic images. You get crystal-clear, lifelike colours with 64 times more shades than conventional UHD displays. In addition, subtle differences are displayed with 10-bit processing for an almost flawless colour expression, which ensures the lifelike reproduction of your content .

You don't always have content in 4K quality, that's for sure. So if you "only" have Full HD images, presentations and videos available, Samsung's intelligent image quality technology will give you a helping hand and increase the quality of your content all by itself. The intelligent UHD upscaling technology, powered by Samsung's Quantum Processor 4K, upscales lower resolution videos to UHD level and then offers professional picture quality. The QM43B converts an existing presentation to UHD quality and optimises text and images on the screen with sharp edges and fine details. Great news regarding the calibration of the Samsung QM43B: With the QMB series displays, you can calibrate the display using the Samsung mobile app. This allows you to make settings to achieve optimum picture quality. In principle, you receive every display with standardised settings. However, these are often neither optimal nor customised to your environment (lighting conditions) or your preferences. To ensure that the content matches your requirements and wishes, you can now easily and professionally customise the display yourself without expensive Spyder hardware. Basic mode offers a quick and easy way to calibrate the screens within 30 seconds, while Professional mode optimises the screens for flawless image quality in around 10 minutes. So if the display of the colours bothers you, e.g. the colour tone is too warm or too cold, then you can make your desired settings here. Samsung thus guarantees you complete brand consistency on every display in every location. With the Samsung mobile app, Smart Calibration ensures that every display is correctly calibrated and displays brand logos and other collateral materials in the exact colours required.

The Samsung QM43B also impresses with its external values: it has a slim frame and a symmetrical design, which enables seamless integration into any environment. To maximise space savings, all connections are aligned outwards to ensure that the display hangs flush against any wall. You can install the QM43B in landscape (landscape format) or portrait mode (portrait format) . You can use the VESA standard 400 x 400 mm and the weight of 10.0 kg as a guide for mounting. In addition there is of course a RJ45 connection for the wired connection to the network and two USB 2.0 connections so that you can connect a mouse, keyboard or USB sticks to the display. You need a few connections in meeting rooms in particular, as you can react to changing participants and their different playback devices at any time. Thanks to the remote desktop connection, you can also easily establish a wireless connection with your PC in the network and operate and control it remotely. Two 10-watt speakers are already included, so you don't necessarily need an external speaker system in small rooms.

As we are almost used to, it delivers an ultra-high 4K resolution with intelligent UHD upscaling, which allows even Full HD content to be displayed even better. What's new is that the QM43B can now also be used as a video conferencing solution and the most popular web conferencing apps are available. This means that simple video calls can be made using an optional web camera. SmartView+ supports modern working in the meeting and conference room and enables up to four participants to show their content from mobile devices wirelessly on the QM43B at the same time.
