The new QB24C-T touch display from Samsung may be small, but it packs a punch. The high-quality PCAP technology enables a 10-point multi-touch and is significantly higher quality and more precise than IR technology. With a brightness of 250 cd/m², the Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels ensures optimum presentation of your content. The Samsung QB24C-T also impresses as a digital signage all-in-one solution: the 24-inch touch display is compatible with both MagicInfo and its successor Samsung VXT. This means you have everything you need to enter the world of digital advertising as quickly as possible. With an operating time of 16/7, the small-format display is ideal for use in retail, meeting rooms and offices.
This is our verdict on the Samsung QB24C-T smart signage touch display:
With a brightness of 250 cd/m2 (before glass), the QB24C-T is suitable for use in normally bright rooms without direct sunlight. With its elegant design, the QB24C-T scores points everywhere. Position the small touch display directly in front of a new product and show suitable promotional videos or discount campaigns via Samsung VXT. Such small signage displays are also popular at checkouts for customer loyalty. Thanks to multi-touch operation, customers can easily enter all the necessary data with their finger and register for a bonus programme or sign up for the newsletter. However, the 24-inch display can also be used in office buildings, for example as a digital signpost where visitors can quickly find the right route. Flexible in all areas of application, the QB24C-T can even be integrated into lifts.
The slimline design opens up a wide range of possible applications. With a device depth of just 4.16 cm, the 24-inch touch display can be mounted in even the most compact places. The QB24C-T can be installed in both portrait and landscape format and complies with the VESA 100x100mm standard. IP5x certified, the display is dust-proof and therefore also suitable for use in industrial environments. The 2 mm thick protective glass is perfect for touch applications. The daily runtime of the display is specified by Samsung as 16 hours.This is more than sufficient for retail, for example, and continuous use is not usually necessary in most office applications.
What makes this touch display particularly special is its all-in-one concept: in addition to the WiFi function for wireless remote control, it includes the integrated MagicInfo S Player, supported by the integrated TIZEN 7.0 operating system, which makes it seamless and easy to play digital signage content, videos, music and office documents. Plan schedules and create complex playlists in minutes that are played at set times. In combination with Samsung MagicInfo or Samsung VXT, digital signage content can be transmitted wirelessly to the Samsung QB24C via WiFi or LAN. Samsung MagicInfo is software that is aimed at both beginners and professionals and offers a suitable solution for every user. MagicInfo is initially available as free software, the necessary software can be requested from us after purchase. MagicInfo is used to create switch-on and switch-off times and link them to the individual playlist. This means that the display starts automatically in the morning with the desired content and nobody has to worry about switching the display off in the evening. Incidentally, your playlists and content are stored temporarily on the display. This means that you don't need to worry in the event of a network failure, as your content will simply continue to play during this time. Samsung VXT will replace MagicInfo in the near future. It is a significantly improved content management system and a remote management solution in the cloud. Samsung VXT will be available from January 2024 and can be ordered from us now.
The Samsung QB24C-T signage display has been equipped with a 5 watt speaker for sound output. This means you don't necessarily need external speakers at the point of sale.
The Samsung QB24C-T comes with the new Home UI. The Home UI is a system tool with which you can customise the 24-inch screen to your wishes and security requirements. For example, you can define which favourites, sources and settings can be displayed and used on the screen. The favourites folder gives users quick, easy access to frequently used functions with just one click. Only what you authorise can ultimately be used. Changes can only be made with a password that you specify.
Another great solution is the connection to Office 365, allowing you to access Office 365 documents directly on the display. A VMWare and RDP connection is also possible at any time. It can be controlled via touch, a remote control or you can use the integrated Bluetooth functionality and wirelessly connect a mouse and keyboard to the display. This gives you a smart and mobile workstation with all the possibilities.
Now let's talk about the available connections: There is an HDMI input (HDCP 2.2) to easily connect external playback devices. A USB input (2.0) has been integrated so that multimedia content can be played directly from a USB stick. The QB24C-T can be integrated into existing media control systems at any time via the RS232 input. A wired Internet connection can be established via the RJ45 connection. This is important if a WiFi connection is not to be used. Of course, a connection via WiFi and Bluetooth is also possible. Even a wireless connection to mobile devices is possible with the help of Miracast. Thanks to the integrated WiFi function, content and display management is also possible remotely and without cables. To control the QB24C, the display is equipped with a centre IR connection. This allows the QB24C-T to receive IR signals directly on the panel. This enables simple and convenient remote control. It is no longer necessary to extend the cabling of the IR receiver once the display has been installed, resulting in a clean overall appearance. Thanks to the integrated WiFi function, content and display management is also possible remotely and without cables.
Finally, we would like to point out the extensive safety functions of the Samsung QB24C-T. Three levels of protection at application, platform and system level are provided by the powerful Knox security system. The system also restricts access to content and hardware. It prevents unauthorised persons from remotely controlling the network and USB ports. In terms of longevity, it is also worth mentioning that Samsung offers a 3-year warranty on the QB24C-T.

The small 24-inch display impressed us with its all-in-one functionality. It is already equipped with Wi-Fi and the MagicINFO S Player for individual use. This saves you having to buy additional devices. Another plus point is the option of using the brand new Samsung VXT CMS with the 24-inch display. This gives you the opportunity to address and communicate directly with your customers at the point of sale. The PCAP touch functionality offers many exciting possibilities. For us, the QB24C-T is a recommended purchase for all those who need a high-quality touchscreen.
