The frameless 55-inch display with a screen diagonal of 138.68 cm from Samsung's HAU8000 series has a 4K Crystal Ultra HD resolution of 3840x2160 pixels and LED backlight technology. The Samsung 55AU8000 Smart TV has HDR (High Dynamic Range) standard and therefore offers you a greater dynamic range and contrast than normal displays. Equipped with the Tizen operating system, a built-in DVB-T2/C/S2 tuner and two Dolby Digital Plus speakers, the 55AU8000 Smart TV is ideally equipped for your guests' relaxed viewing pleasure. The Samsung 55AU8000 Hotel TV features 4K UHD and goes beyond normal Full HD with 4x more pixels and offers razor-sharp images. In addition to the high Ultra HD resolution, the 55AU8000 also has HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology: This increases the brightness range of your TV so that you can enjoy an enormous colour spectrum and all visual details even in the darkest scenes. HDR also gives your pictures and videos more colour depth, as a wider range of colours can be displayed. In addition, HDR offers better contrast values and deeper black levels. The result: you get realistic and impressive images and videos that come very close to natural human perception.

The Samsung 55AU8000 Crystal UHD Hotel TV also shines with its ultra-thin design, which blends effortlessly into any interior and brings pure elegance to any room with its minimalist look. In addition, Samsung has integrated a neat cable solution to avoid clutter.
Free television, no strings attached
The Samsung 55AU8000's integrated TV tuner provides you with a direct connection to DVB-T2, DVB-C and DVB-S2, eliminating the need to purchase external receivers and saving you additional costs. This means you can access TV programmes via both a cable and satellite connection. You also get access to free live streaming TV content with a variety of virtual channels, Samsung TV Plus. In addition, the favourite voice assistants Bixby, Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant have been integrated. This is the first time Samsung has included all three voice assistants in a Samsung TV, so you can enjoy an optimised entertainment experience and advanced control in your connected home.

Connect with one tap
The Samsung 55AU8000 Hospitality Display allows you to mirror films or music from your mobile phone to the TV. How do you do it? Simply with a tap. The 55AU8000 has the Tap View function, which uses NFC (Near Field Communication) and Bluetooth to provide you with a seamless connection. All you have to do is physically tap your mobile phone on the TV or hold it near the NFC tag on the TV and your content will be recognised and automatically mirrored. As soon as you are connected, your content such as photos, videos, presentations and apps from your mobile device are displayed on the 55AU8000. The content can also be controlled via your mobile device. If you want to disconnect again, simply remove the mobile device from the NFC tag or end the connection via settings.

LYNK Cloud - a comprehensive solution: Samsung LYNK™ Cloud offers hotels a range of powerful tools to enhance the guest experience. LYNK™ Cloud is a content management solution that makes it possible to analyse guest usage behaviour to provide valuable insights that help hotel managers deliver optimised promotions.
The connections include 1 x HDMI ARC, 1 x CI slot, 1 x service port, 2 x HDMI, 2 x USB, 1 x data port and an RJ45 input. You can receive an input signal from an external aerial, a cable connection or a satellite receiver via the aerial IN (satellite/cable).
