The PureTools PT-PSW-21C presentation switcher was developed to route an HDMI or USB-C input signal to an HDMI output. The professional switcher supports video resolutions up to 4K 60Hz, 4:4:4, 8bit and 1080p including 3D formats. The built-in intelligent EDID management allows EDID selection via a 4-pole DIP switch on the front panel.
The PT-PSW-21C supports stereo and multi-channel audio at the HDMI inputs. A USB-B port for the host connection and two USB-A ports for HID devices such as a camera, microphone or keyboard are available for expansion. The HDMI 2.0 2x1 Presentation Switcher was developed to switch input signals from HDMI or USB-C to an HDMI output. The USB-C v3.1 port supports 4K video signals and can simultaneously charge the connected device with up to 40 watts. The existing inputs support video resolutions up to 4K 60Hz, 4:4:4, 8bit incl. HDCP 2.2, HDR10 and Dolby Vision support as well as older resolutions such as 1080p and 3D. In addition, the EDID setting can be selected via the 4-pole DIP switch on the front panel.
The PureTools PT-PSW-21C supports stereo and multi-channel audio via HDMI input. In addition to the audio signal embedded in the HDMI output signal, this can also be simultaneously decoupled via a balanced analogue audio output (5-pin Phoenix connection). Device control is also no problem with a type-B USB port for the host connection and two type-A USB ports for HID devices such as cameras, microphones, keyboards and many more.
The devices on the USB-A ports are automatically switched with the HDMI (via USB-B) / USB-C inputs to make these USB devices available for the corresponding host. The switcher has several control modes. In AUTO mode, it automatically switches to the first detected source device. If the active source is removed, it switches to the input with the lowest number.
The switch can be controlled manually using the buttons on the front panel or via RS232 commands. The integrated CEC functionality also makes it possible to control the display device using the buttons on the front panel or converted RS232 commands via CEC.
