Multifunctional AV distribution system - wall plate system with EU hole pattern: The PureTools PT-PK100 is a multifunctional AV distribution system that combines HDMI / VGA switching, system control, signal extension and analogue audio amplification functions in one practical set. With the Valens Colligo series chipsets, power, control signals, video (up to 1080p) and audio are transported between the transmitter and receiver via a single Cat/Ethernet cable up to 30 metres long. The wallplate control panel is connected to the wallplate transmitter with a second cable. All the power required for the system is supplied by the receiver (Rx) and distributed via PoC. In addition, the receiver has an integrated, IP-based web GUI for control and analogue audio de-embedding to a built-in 2x20 watt stereo amplifier.
This set consists of HDBaseT wallplate transmitter (PT-PK100-TXWP) incl. scaler, wallplate control panel (PT-PK100-BCWP) and stand-alone receiver (PT-PK100-RX). The HDBaseT kit PT-PK100 from PureLink's PureTools series was developed for use in presentations and/or conferences, e.g. in educational institutions, and consists of an HDBaseT transmitter (Tx) with switchable HDMI and VGA inputs, a stand-alone HDBaseT receiver (Rx) and a wallplate control panel. The PT-PK100 Wallplate Transmitter offers two signal inputs - a VGA and an HDMI input with support for HDCP 1.4, which can be switched between if required. It transmits A/V signals via a Cat.5e / Cat.6a cable to the receiver module (Rx) - with a maximum range of 30 metres at a resolution of up to WUXGA / FullHD / 1080p / 1920x1200 60Hz.
The PureTools PT-PK100 kit provides an easy-to-use A/V control option for showrooms, classrooms and conference rooms, making it ideal for use in educational facilities. The system has been developed to solve some difficult problems. For example, the teacher not being able to change signal sources at will and annotate important things in class on a whiteboard. In addition, the control panel has four physical buttons that can take over four common functions of the remote control used, e.g. for controlling devices on the transmitter side, and thus replace them. The system supports control via front panel push buttons as well as via a web-based GUI. Power-over-Cable (PoC), the integrated PoC solution allows all three individual components to share the same power supply via PoC without the need for additional power supply units. Simply connect the DC power supply unit to the receiver (Rx) and the transmitter and control panel are supplied with power synchronously via PoC. USB signal return to the USB socket on the receiver (FROM TOUCH SCREEN) can be connected to a whiteboard with touch control.
When a user makes notes on the smart board, the PT-PK100 receiver receives this control signal via the USB cable and sends it back to the HDMI signal source (PC). For connection to a whiteboard with integrated touchscreen and incl. transmission of the USB signal to the signal source or for connection to an interactive projector, e.g. for handwritten annotations (no synchronisation with the PC) RS232 control. The PT-PK100 has an RS232 interface for connection to a projector and control via RS232 commands via a web-based user interface (web GUI). Infrared control, the receiver's built-in IR sensor has an IR OUT port for IR transmitters to control remotely controllable devices from the receiving end. Simply place the IR remote control of the projector near the IR sensor of the wall plate and the corresponding IR emitter near the projector. In this way, the projector can be controlled with the corresponding IR remote control via the IR passthrough function.
IR learning function IR learning allows the user to map the buttons on the control panel of the wall plate directly to some buttons on the IR remote control used to control the respective device. The buttons and signal source cannot be changed. Web-based GUI control In addition to physical push button control, USB control, RS232 control and IR control, the PT-PK100 can be controlled via a web-based GUI interface. This allows interaction with the PK100 via simple graphical icons and visual indicators. Connect the TCP/IP port of the PT-PK100 to the Ethernet port of your PC via a twisted pair cable and then customise the configuration of the Ethernet adapters to control the entire system via a standard web browser. Microphone input mode switch: When the switch is set to MIC, the microphone input is used to connect a dynamic microphone. When the switch is set to LINE, the microphone input is used to connect to the normal audio or wireless microphone output.
There are two different connections for both input types: 1. unbalanced connection: to ground and - to the signal 2. balanced connection: + to positive, - to negative and to ground Save and load configuration data. The IR and/or RS232 configuration of the system can be copied to a USB stick (<4 GB, FAT32) and loaded into other systems or saved as a backup. LED displays 1.
