This PureTools PT-E-HD50 set, consisting of a transmitter and receiver unit, transmits up to five different signals (audio/video, IR, Ethernet, RS-232, PoC) with just one cost-effective Cat.X cable. Based on HDBaseT technology, the PureTools 5Play Extender Set is a genuine 1-wire solution. The system can be used as a plug and play model without any additional settings or programming and enables the simultaneous digital and uncompressed transmission of AV and control signals.

With just one conventional and cost-effective Cat.X cable, even distant displays can be reached effortlessly and without loss of quality. The transmitter converts the HDMI input signal into a Cat signal and sends this to the receiver, which converts it back into HDMI and forwards it to the HDMI output. A network cable can also transmit Ethernet, PoC, RS-232 and the infrared control signal bidirectionally. This saves long distances as both units can be controlled from one point.

With this PureTools extender and a Cat.X cable, it is possible to transmit FullHD (1080p) or 3D signals up to 100 metres to a display securely and without any loss of quality. 4K formats up to 2160p 30Hz can still be transmitted up to 80 metres. Installation is quick and easy, and it may even be possible to use network cables already laid on site. With the screwable mains connection and the transmission of PoC, CEC, IR and RS-232 control signals, all precautions have been taken for professional use.
