The PureLink PI1002 series is the all-rounder for high-speed HDMI. Up to a cable length of 5.0 m, the PI1002 cables ensure full 4K 60Hz support with 18Gbps . Above 5.0 m transmissions with a bandwidth of 10.2Gbps for resolutions up to 4K UltraHD 30Hz are possible. Thanks to the high reliability, these cables are particularly suitable for professional applications and installations.
The 0.5 metre PureLink PI1002-005 is a certified 4K High Speed HDMI round cable with 7.3 mm outer diameter. With the specification "High Speed HDMI with Ethernet" it is ideally suited for AV transmissions with up to 18Gbps. The cable has both an Ethernet line (HEAC) and an audio return channel (ARC).
The two high-precision plug contacts are coated with 24 carat gold and thus ensure optimal and reliable signal transmission. They also feature the patented Secure Lock System (SLS), which was specially developed for the PureInstall series. This high-tech connector design is unique on the market. It locks the HDMI plug in each connection socket and thus increases the stability of the connection even under high pulling force. This permanently protects your installation from interruptions.
Triple shielding
With the unique, three-layer shielding structure, consisting of a combination of 100% closed aluminium foil, a dense braiding as well as an additional inner shielding, the high-purity inner conductor made of OFC copper is perfectly protected. The copper conductor can thus develop its full performance potential and interference and crosstalk are completely prevented.
Quality and bandwidth
The PureLink PI1002-005 cable supports a max. HDMI bandwidth of 18 Gbps for resolutions up to 4K 60Hz with 8bit colours and 4:4:4 subsampling. Even the display of HDR content (High-Dynamic-Range) is possible with this cable without any problems. The PI1002-005 thus complies with the new HDMI standard - and is also backwards compatible with all older HDMI specifications.
HDMI Ethernet Channel and Audio Return Channel
The Ethernet Channel (HEAC) in the PI1002-005 is an innovation of the HDMI 1.4 standard. It allows you to integrate IP-based entertainment devices such as TVs, set-top boxes or game consoles into your home network. This makes it possible to use the Internet or IP-based services without additional cabling. The audio return channel (ARC) sends the digital audio signal back to the AV receiver via the HDMI cable if required. A connection with a separate Toslink cable is no longer necessary. These intelligent features save you additional cables, which is a great advantage, especially in the home cinema sector .
