The LU-SHD-310SM Presentation Switcher from Luxi Electronics with integrated scaler distributes an HDMI, DisplayPort or VGA signal including audio to two HDMI outputs with analogue audio output. The actively recognised input signal is scaled into a compatible output signal without format adjustment. Individually switchable "Show Me" buttons, an LED status display and an RS-232 connection for external control round off the Presentation Switcher's features. This makes it ideal for use in conference rooms, home cinemas and also for digital signage applications.
With the Presentation Switcher from Luxi Electronics, there are no more compatibility problems with presentations. The switcher has inputs for HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA including stereo audio via 3.5 mm jack. It therefore covers all available input signals. It splits the signal and forwards it mirrored to the two HDMI-A outputs so that an identical image can be transmitted to up to two screens. The audio signal can be decoupled independently of the input signal via existing Phoenix sockets.
The scaler integrated in the switcher converts the input signal from any source into a compatible output signal. Individual format adjustment is therefore no longer necessary. This is particularly important if several devices presenting simultaneously via the presentation switcher are to output the same format. The activated active input detection ensures that the format is automatically switched and adapted (scaled) as soon as one of the connected devices fails.
The "Show Me" button is used for simple and problem-free signal distribution. When this button is pressed, the selected format is shown on the corresponding display on the output side. The presentation switcher also has a four-pin Phoenix connection for up to three external "Show Me" buttons, each of which can control a signal type (HDMI, DP or VGA). The desired input signal can therefore be selected at the touch of a button.
An LED status display makes it easier to operate the device. It clearly indicates which input signal is currently being used. An RS-232 interface is also available for external control. The device is connected via a Phoenix screw terminal.
