The Philips Tableaux 25BDL4050I is a so-called ePaper display that can be operated over a longer period of time without a power supply. With 60,000 colours, it is the first advanced ePaper signage display on the market and offers a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels in 16:9 format. The 25.3-inch Philips Signage Solutions Tableaux offers extensive connectivity options via WiFi, LAN and USB and is equipped with the secure Android 11 operating system.

Most people are more familiar with e-paper displays from digital price tags or e-book readers. These digital price boards can be found in almost every modern retail shop. They offer retailers a fast and often centrally controlled solution for updating prices. The small e-paper displays are battery-operated and are therefore very flexible in use. Four 18650 rechargeable batteries can be inserted into the device itself, although these are not supplied. Once these are charged, the device can be operated independently for up to 1 year without recharging, depending on the application. Perfect for places where there is no power socket. Anyone who prefers a conventional power connection because content needs to be changed frequently will still benefit from the very low energy consumption of the Philips e-paper.

The Philips Tableaux for displaying digital signage images

In principle, the 25.3 inch display is intended exclusively for image reproduction - videos cannot be reproduced via this display. The e-paper only really consumes power when you load new images onto the device. You can use either a USB stick or a MicroSD card to upload content. Alternatively, this is also possible via a LAN or WiFi connection.

Integrated SoC and third-party platforms

The Philips Tableaux has a built-in Android SoC (with Android 11). As already mentioned, content updates can be managed manually or remotely via PPDS' own or third-party platforms. The Philips E-Paper Display will also soon be compatible with the cloud-based management platform PPDS Wave.

Portrait or landscape format - you decide!

The display can be mounted in both portrait and landscape format. The daily runtime release is 24/7 in both orientations, i.e. operation is guaranteed around the clock. The 25BDL4050I e-paper display has a VESA mount in the size 100 x 100 mm. At 2.4 kg, the 25.3-inch display is not too heavy either.
