Let's first take a closer look at the picture quality of the 32BDL4511D: Philips' display has a brightness of 400 cd/m², which is perfectly adequate for bright locations with direct sunlight. In addition, there is a contrast ratio of 1200:1, which, together with the high-quality Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, is particularly convincing for digital signage content. 

The 32BDL4511D features ADS panel technology: ADS panel technology is an improvement of IPS technology: the Chinese BOE Technology (Beijing Orient Electronics Group) has been successfully developing a promising ADSDS technology (Advanced Super Dimension Switch) for several years, trying to optimise the disadvantages of IPS technology such as low contrast values and also the price. In contrast to IPS technology, the ADS structure uses longitudinal and transverse electric fields for the parallel movement of liquid crystals. In addition, the ADS uses the luminous flux more efficiently due to the indium tin oxide used. This material is very durable and reliable, improves colour reproduction, increases viewing angles and has very high light transmission, which increases screen brightness. In addition, the 100% transparency allowed developers to place controls on the crystalline film. The lack of an additional protective coating increases viewing angles by several degrees. In addition, ADS screens are very pressure-resistant, which is extremely important for interactive displays in particular. Nevertheless, so far the price factor cannot be significantly reduced in relation to IPS technology.

In addition to its outstanding picture quality, the 32BDL4511D stands out for its innovative solutions for signage applications. For 24/7 use, for example, there is an integrated SmartPlayer with which you can easily play back videos, music or Office documents via USB. You programme your content and the display does the rest: the 32BDL4511D is brought out of standby mode and after, for example, your video has been played, the display returns to standby mode - an energy-saving and sustainable way of working. In this way, you can plan schedules and create elaborate playlists within a few minutes, which are then played at set times. You can also link switch-on and switch-off times with your playlist. For example, this function is particularly useful in retail or small kiosks if you want to play different content in the morning than in the afternoon. In this way, the display automatically plays your desired content in the morning and switches itself off again at closing time. This consumes no power and you don't need staff to look after the display. 

Even for network failures, the 32BDL4511D is equipped with the FailOver function: This temporarily stores your playlists and content on the display and it automatically switches between primary and secondary inputs. This allows you to set a list of alternative inputs that the display can then access. This means that if your primary source doesn't want what you want, your content will still be played. This way, customers and visitors won't notice a failure and you can work on the solution in the background. 

With CMND & Control, you get the ability to centrally manage and monitor your Philips displays. Distribute software updates to all devices, switch displays on or off without having to be on site. Administrators can intervene at any time if there is an error message in the meeting room or if, for example, a meeting visitor has accidentally changed the channel. You are in control of your displays at all times and can quickly clarify or resolve situations. With CMND & Control you also have another advantage: if you use several Philips digital signage devices, you only need to create settings and playlists once and then distribute them to all displays via CMND & Control. And so that you can always see whether your display is running correctly and showing the right content, Philips offers you an automatic screenshot function. With the help of this function, screenshots are regularly created, saved on the FTP server and can even be forwarded to you by e-mail if you wish.

Finally, the display offers you a SmartPower function for saving energy. This allows you to control the backlight, for example, and reduce your energy consumption by no less than 50%, which of course also significantly reduces your operating costs. 

When it comes to mounting your 32BDL4511D display, you have the choice between portrait mode (portrait format) or landscape mode (landscape format). This is a real plus point, especially for digital advertising content, as it gives you flexibility in terms of application and area of use. The display has a VESA hole of 100 x 100 mm or 200 x 200 mm, so you can use any mount that is compatible with this standard. You can also find suitable mounts here in our shop. You must pay attention to two aspects: Firstly, the VESA standard and secondly, the maximum load capacity of the bracket (display weight for the 32BDL4511D: 5.7 kg). With the right mount, installation is very easy. You can mount the display really close to the wall thanks to its narrow depth of 6.51 cm. - The result: a clean and professional appearance and you save space at the same time. 

Finally, let's move on to the topic of connection options. Not only do you get two HDMI 2.0 connections, but also a DVI-I connection and a DisplayPort 1.2 connection for connecting external source devices. Two USB 2.0 ports are available for connecting external hard drives or USB sticks. The audio input and output with 3.5 mm jack connection is advantageous if you want to connect a microphone to the display or pass the audio signal through to a sound system.
