The Panasonic TH-50SQ2HW from the SQ2H series is a professional standard 4K display that is characterised by its brightness, reliability and versatile adaptability. With a brightness of 700 cd/m², it offers impressive picture quality and is clearly visible even in strong ambient light. The panels are anti-glare and have a 25% haze coating to minimise glare from light sources and reflections and improve visibility. The Panasonic TH-50SQ2HW can be used in both portrait and landscape format around the clock. The TH50SQ2HW also features numerous connectivity options, an integrated 4K-compatible USB media player, the Intel® SDM slot and 20-watt speaker power. This gives you improved connectivity and flexibility.
4K UHD resolution, high brightness and a VA panel for optimal
imagesWith a brightness of 700 cd/m², the Panasonic TH-50SQ2HW offers clear and bright 4K images even in rooms with high brightness. The TH-50SQ2HW is therefore also suitable for light-flooded rooms with many windows. Together with the high-quality 4K UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, the TH-50SQ2HW is impressive. The VA panel technology offers you significantly higher contrast values than an IPS panel. The Panasonic display has a contrast ratio of 4000:1 and impresses with high black and white values for both digital signage content and classic office applications. This panel technology is also characterised by better colour accuracy and a wider colour gamut, which is particularly advantageous for applications such as photo editing or video viewing.
Vivid and almost lifelike colours
The TH-50SQ2HW also features 12-axis colour management: this allows the colour temperature, colour and brightness parameters of individual images to be adjusted for red, green and blue and their complementary colours cyan, magenta and yellow. In this way, the intermediate shades of the extremely fine colours are displayed vividly and realistically and all viewers are presented with an incredibly realistic picture.
Reduce blue light - protect your eyesThe
TH-50SQ2HW is equipped with a function that can reduce blue light by up to 50%. High-energy blue light is the short-wave part of the visible spectrum and is considered tiring for the eyes. This is usually not really noticeable when looking at the display for a short time, but it is a factor that can cause some health problems in the long term.
Flexible installation options for any locationThe
Panasonic TH-50SQ2HW can be installed not only in landscape format, but also in portrait format. You also have the option of tilting the display forwards and backwards by 20°, both in landscape and portrait mode. This guarantees good readability when it is mounted higher, for example. This is often the case in fast food restaurants or stadiums. This means you can use the display in a wide variety of room constellations. It also has an extra anti-glare coating that minimises unwanted reflections. In combination with the 24/7 runtime release, you get a robust display that promises you a long service life. With this operating time, you can install the display optimally for areas in airports or railway stations, for example, where there is air and rail traffic around the clock. The TH-50SQ2HW display is equipped with a slim design that can be integrated anywhere without taking up much space thanks to a frame of just 14.9 mm. The display is also 66 mm deep, so even narrow aisles are no problem.
4K USB media player includedWith
the TH-50SQ2HW, you can play your content via a USB storage device. Simply insert your USB device into the USB slot provided on the display and the content will be played automatically. Images, videos or entire playlists can be played via such a storage device. Create a playlist for a restaurant, hotel or spa, for example, which then runs throughout the day with the desired sequence of your content. This means you don't have to worry about anything and no additional staff are required. You don't even need to buy any paid software for your playlists, as you can download the content management software free of charge from the Panasonic website. This allows you to easily create your own playlist, in which you can even combine still images and videos. You also have the option of creating schedules for when your playlists should be played. You can even synchronise and transfer these schedules to a USB storage device or via your LAN connection.
Always "on air" thanks to the failover functionEven
ifyour system should fail for a short time, you don't have to worry that your displays won't play any content. Panasonic has integrated the failover function for such situations, which switches the system to backup signals if a video or audio signal is interrupted. As soon as the main signals can be restored, the original image or video is displayed again.
Variety of connections for more flexibilityThe
TH-50SQ2HW has a wide range of connections: you can look forward to three HDMI connections, a VGA connection (Mini D-Sub 15-pin (DDC2B)) and three USB connections (1x USB-A 3.0, 1x USB-A 2.0, 1x USB-C). This allows you to connect multiple devices for the next meeting in the meeting room. The display also has two integrated 10-watt speakers, so you don't need external speakers, which is particularly advantageous when a large display is installed in confined spaces. However, you can of course still connect external speakers. The audio input and output with 3.5 mm jack connection is also an advantage if you want to connect a microphone to the display or pass the audio signal through to a sound system.
Another feature of the display is its compatibility with HDMI CEC devices. This means you can play a film in your foyer without any problems. Simply connect your DVD/Blu-ray player to the display via an HDMI cable and visitors can watch an image film of your company.
Optionally, you can purchase the Digital Link Terminal Board for easy installation and low system costs. Based on HDBaseT technology, DigitalLink supports the transmission of HDMI signals, video, audio and control commands over a single CAT5e cable (or higher) for distances of 150 metres for Full HD video and 50 metres for 4K video. With DigitalLink you therefore have low costs as you need fewer system upgrades, external receivers and less overall AV control software costs. There is also less chance of system failure as fewer cables and receivers are used. For large sites, an optional Digital Interface Box (ET-YFB100G) or Digital Link Switcher (ET-YFB200G) is available. The Panasonic TH-50SQ2HW is also equipped with an Intel® SDM slot standard. This supports 4K signals and you can easily add different interfaces via an interface board. You can insert the sizes SDM-S (60 mm x 100 mm) or SDM-L (175 mm x 100 mm) into the slot. Depending on the size, you can add further connections and connection options to your display.
Control and manage the Panasonic
TH-50SQ2HWYou can control the TH-50SQ2HW and several devices simultaneously and integrate them into your existing system
via the
LAN connection. Panasonic also offers the Multi-Monitoring & Control software, with which you can control your displays and peripheral devices on the intranet. This can be expanded with additional functions such as the display of error messages or improved maintenance measures - but at a cost. In principle, however, the basic control functions are also sufficient. As a bonus, this display also has the cloning function, which makes it easier for you to set up several displays. If you install more than one TH-50SQ2HW, you can use the cloning function to use a USB storage device to transfer the respective settings of a higher-level display to other devices. And that saves a lot of time!
