IP5X dust resistant optical unit

HDR compatible

With its HDR compatibility, the Optoma laser projector is able to receive and display HDR meta data. This allows you to see even more detail and texture. Objects are displayed more realistically and these additional details create a greater sense of depth - as if you were looking through a window.

High contrast ratio and amazing colour

Vertical lens shift, keystone correction and four corner adjustment

The vertical lens shift of the laser projector simplifies your installations because it offers a wider range of positioning options. This allows the projector to be positioned more flexibly and permits a wide range of image sizes. With the horizontal keystone correction and the individually adjustable image corners, you can create a perfectly square image. Ideal for uneven walls or unusual projector placements. The ZU506Te's Auto Keystone correction automatically adjusts the keystone effect when the projector is off-axis to create an aligned image*.

Portrait projection, 360 degree projections and Full 3D

Portrait projection is ideal for digital signage applications. You can rotate your ZU506Te laser projector 90 degrees to project a portrait image. The Optoma projector can also project images along the horizontal axis over 360 degrees. The projector can display 3D content from virtually any 3D source, including 3D compatible graphics cards, 3D broadcast systems and the latest generation of 3D media servers.

HDBaseT™

The ZU506Te is equipped with an HDBaseT connection that allows you to send uncompressed Full HD video, audio, network and control commands over just one CAT-type cable over up to 100 metres without signal loss - for quick and easy installations. HDBaseT™ simplifies installation and saves time and money.

Network and control

A wide range of control options make it easy to monitor and manage the projector. Optoma projectors can be easily monitored and controlled with virtually any control system thanks to a large number of RS232 commands. The Dynamic Discovery protocol built into the ZU506Te allows easy installation with any AMX control system. With the compatible Crestron RoomView® software you can, for example, switch on and off, monitor and control up to 250 projectors simultaneously from any PC. For example, you can programme the switching on and off, control and adjustment of settings via a simple web browser. The option to send emergency messages or automatic reminders to change lamps can also be programmed.

PJLink and Telnet

The PJLink protocol built into the Optoma ZU506Te projector allows easy installation with PJLink compatible control systems. The projector is also able to receive commands via Telnet, allowing easy installation with Telnet compatible control systems.

AV Mute function and Quick Resume

Always stay in control with the AV Mute function. Direct your audience's attention away from the screen by fading out the image. If the projector is accidentally switched off, you can switch it on again immediately thanks to the Quick Resume feature.

Automatic switch-off function and Direct Power On

It can happen that the projector is switched on even though it is not being used. To save energy in such cases, the automatic switch-off function ensures that the projector is switched off after a pre-set time. You can also switch off your projector immediately without hesitation - this means that you do not have to wait for the projector to cool down before switching it off. With Direct Power On, the projector is switched on immediately when power is applied. This avoids additional switching on via remote control or keypad - ideal for use in rooms with a "master" power switch.

24/7 operation

All Optoma projectors are designed for 24/7 use. The use of the best components ensures absolutely unbeatable reliability. Lamps are covered by the standard warranty. The projector warranty is based on standard use during a normal working day. To achieve optimum performance, it is recommended that the laser projector is switched off for 30 minutes every 24 hours or switched to standby to extend the life of the lamp.
