The Optoma ZU500USTe WUXGA ultra-short throw laser projector is a high brightness DLP projector with 5000 Ansi Lumen for 24/7 operation. Equipped with the long-life, low-maintenance DuraCore laser light source, you get a performance duration of up to 30,000 hours. With the lamp-free, filter-free design and IP5X certification, you get an absolutely reliable projector with a low total cost of ownership. Thanks to its weight of only 5.7 kg, the ZU500USTe projector can be mounted very close to a wall or projection surface and display an image of over 100 inches (254 cm). In addition, the ZU500USTe supports versatile alignment options. The flexible, powerful and bright ultra-short throw projector is also ideal for installation in digital signage applications where space is at a premium, such as shop windows or retail displays.
Amazing colour and high contrast ratioThe
Optoma ZU500USTe provides you with reliable colour performance: from accurate sRGB colours to razor-sharp presentations, it always offers the display mode that suits your requirements. Give your images more depth, because the laser projector's high contrast ratio of 100,000:1 makes white tones appear brighter and black tones appear deep black. This brings your images to life and texts appear sharp and clear - ideal for business and teaching. The Optoma ZU500USTe also has a WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels in 16:10 widescreen format. With a higher resolution than Full HD, WUXGA offers a wider viewing area for engineering graphics, Excel spreadsheets or PowerPoint presentations and is therefore perfect for your everyday business or school work. The projector combines the brightness of 5000 Ansi Lumen with vibrant colours for a vivid, lifelike image even in brightly lit environments. In addition, the Optoma ZU500USTe laser projector also offers you the option of displaying content in 3D from virtually any 3D source. The Optoma ZU500USTe can also project images along the horizontal axis over 360 degrees.
Ultra-short throw lens and DuraCore technology
The ZU500USTe laser projector utilises high quality laser technology to project the best possible image. In many situations, the perceived brightness of laser projectors can be twice that of a conventional lamp model. They also provide greater efficiency to ensure uniform brightness. In addition, the ZU500USTE offers superior colour performance, instant on/off and an exceptional lifetime of up to 30,000 hours. Because the Optoma ZU500USTe laser projector is equipped with DuraCore technology, you get industry-leading runtimes as they utilise advanced laser diode cooling techniques and an innovative dust-resistant design. In fact, all Optoma projectors are designed for 24/7 use. The projector guarantee is based on standard use during a normal working day. For optimum performance, it is recommended to switch it off or into standby for 30 minutes every 24 hours to extend the life of the lamp.
Optimum image adjustment with keystone correction
Keystone correction, also known as keystone correction, automatically adjusts the unwanted keystone effect. The ZU500USTe projector from Optoma has a vertical and horizontal keystone correction of 10° to align the image perfectly with the projection surface.
IP5X dust resistant optical unit
The Optoma ultra-short throw laser projector has been independently tested and certified to IEC Standard 60529 with an IP5X dust resistance rating. The ZU500USTe combines outstanding dust resistance with impressive brightness for industry-leading durability - essential for 24/7 operation in challenging environments.
Network and control
A wide range of control options make the projector easy to monitor and manage. Optoma projectors can be easily monitored and controlled with virtually any control system thanks to a wide range of RS232 commands. The Dynamic Discovery protocol built into the ZU500USTe allows easy installation with any AMX control system. With the compatible Crestron RoomView® software you can, for example, switch on and off, monitor and control up to 250 projectors simultaneously from any PC. For example, you can programme the switching on and off, control and adjustment of settings via a simple web browser. The option to send emergency messages or automatic lamp replacement reminders can also be programmed.
Connectivity options for the Optoma ZU500USTe
The following ports are available for the connectivity of the Optoma ZU500USTe: Via the two HDMI 2.0 connections and the VGA (YPbPr/RGB) connection, you can connect laptops, for example, and project your content directly onto the big screen. The included USB-A connection supplies an HDMI dongle such as Google Chromecast with power. The short-throw projector has an integrated 10-watt speaker that can be supplemented with external speakers to further optimise the sound.
EPSON® Replacement Adapter
With this adapter, existing EPSON® ultra-short throw projectors can be upgraded to a Full HD 1080p projector from Optoma. It fits on any installed Epson UST wall mount - so you can easily upgrade to 1080p. It is compatible with Optoma's 320UST/ 319UST range.
DuraCare warranty (optional)
Optoma's optional DuraCare warranty package offers a warranty designed for very heavy duty use. It provides higher average brightness and exceptional reliability over a period of more than 5 years or 24,000 hours. This additional package offers the further benefit of a preventative maintenance service at 12,000 hours, bringing back the performance of the day of manufacture.
