The Optoma ZU2200 is an ultra-bright laser projector from Optoma's Professional range. It is equipped with a WUXGA resolution (1920x1200) and ultra-high 18500 Ansi Lumen brightness, making it ideal for high-end installations in the entertainment, exhibition and digital signage sectors. The ZU2200 from the Optoma Ultra Bright series also offers extreme flexibility: with 8 possible interchangeable lenses, you can meet the requirements of even the most complex installations. The Optoma DuraCore laser high performance projector offers you 4K HDR compatibility, Pure Engine video processing and colour matching to create visually stunning, lifelike images with exceptional detail and high colour accuracy. You can use the Optoma ZU2200 laser projector around the clock, it has a laser lifetime of up to 30,000 hours and is IP5X certified - this means for you: optimal and reliable performance even under extreme conditions of up to 50 degrees Celsius. On the outside, the ZU2200 projector from Optoma features a robust metal housing and a modular design for easier maintenance. With multiple connectivity options and a fail-safe redundancy mode for instant source switching, this Ultra Bright Series projector offers a solution for complicated installations, including multi-projector and dome projection applications. Amazing Colour and Colour Management System (CMS)

With the ZU2200's True AV Mute feature, the laser projector's light source can be switched on and off at the touch of a button. In contrast to the standard AV Mute function, no light is emitted from the projector - for a 100% black image. The included Extreme Black technology ensures that the laser diodes are switched off completely as soon as a completely black image frame is detected. This feature is perfect for situations where a total image blackout is required. The Optoma ZU2200 also has a WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels in 16:10 widescreen format. With a higher resolution than Full HD, WUXGA offers a wider viewing area for engineering graphics, Excel spreadsheets or PowerPoint presentations and is therefore perfect for your everyday business or school work. The projector combines the ultra-high brightness of 18500 Ansi lumens (22000 lumens with fixed lens) with vibrant colours for a vivid, true-to-life image even in brightly lit environments. The Colour Management System (CMS) function produces true-to-life colours and allows you to adjust the colours precisely for optimal accuracy. In addition, the Optoma laser projector also offers you the option of displaying content in 3D from virtually any 3D source. In addition, you can project images along the horizontal axis over 360 degrees. Ideal for digital signage applications: Rotate the projector 90 degrees to project a portrait image. The advanced light sensing technology allows you to set brightness levels that remain unchanged over time. Ideal for providing constant brightness in finely tuned installations. The ZU2200's integrated brightness adjustment is a valuable feature for any professional installation with more than one projector. Multiple units of the same model and similar lamp usage can be fine-tuned to deliver the same brightness levels. This is especially important when projecting side by side.

The ZU2200 laser projector gives you the best possible image with high quality laser technology. In many situations, the perceived brightness of laser projectors can be twice that of a conventional lamp model. They also provide greater efficiency to ensure uniform brightness. In addition, the innovative Multicolour Laser (MCL) technology offers even more performance: it adds a second red laser to the usual blue laser, giving you significantly improved colour performance. Furthermore, the ZU2200 offers superior colour performance, instant on/off and an exceptional lifetime of up to 30,000 hours. Because the Optoma ZU2200 laser projector is equipped with DuraCore technology, you get industry-leading runtimes as they utilise advanced laser diode cooling techniques and an innovative dust-resistant design. In fact, all Optoma projectors are designed for 24/7 use. The projector guarantee is based on standard use during a normal working day. For optimum performance, it is recommended to switch it off or into standby for 30 minutes every 24 hours to extend the life of the lamp.

HDR compatible

The HDR compatible projectors from Optoma are able to receive and display HDR meta data. This allows you to see even more detail and texture. Objects are displayed more realistically and these additional details create a greater sense of depth - as if you were looking through a window.

Automatic functions for faster set-up 

The super-fast, camera-based automatic colour matching function (compatible with image sizes up to 300 inches) makes setup quick, easy and convenient, ensuring accurate colour matching in seconds. In addition, the Optoma ZU2200 laser projector also offers the Auto Focus (AF) function (compatible with image sizes up to 300 inches), which allows the projector to be set up quickly, easily and conveniently. This gives you a razor-sharp image in a matter of seconds.

Integrated warping and edge blending processor

The Optoma ZU2200 installation projector has an integrated warping and edge blending processor. Warping, also known as distortion correction, is the adjustment of the projected image to fit an irregularly shaped or curved surface. For example, if you want to project an image onto a concave or convex surface, the image may appear distorted. The warping function then gives you a correct and clear display. In addition, the ZU2200 also offers the edge blending function: This seamlessly merges the overlapping areas of two or more images projected next to each other or overlapping. This is of course particularly practical if you want to create a large image with several projectors to create a homogeneous overall image. To be able to use these functions with the ZU2200, you need a compatible multi-output graphics card with overlap function.

Full lens shift 

The Optoma ZU2200 projector has the Full Lens Shift function, which makes it easier to align and also provides a larger selection of image sizes. Lens Shift moves the lens directly, allowing you to perfectly adjust the image to the screen without compromising image quality. Depending on which lens you choose, you have a greater variety of positioning options. This makes it easier to align the projector and provides a wider range of image sizes. 

Wide temperature range

Thanks to its robust and efficient cooling, the ZU2200 laser projector can be operated in an ambient temperature range of 0~50°C, making it ideal for a wide range of operating environments.

IP5X dust resistant optical unit

The Optoma ZU2200 is independently tested and certified to IEC Standard 60529 with an IP5X dust resistance rating. Outstanding dust resistance combined with impressive brightness provide industry leading durability - essential for 24/7 operation in challenging environments.

Constant Power

The constant power function of the ZU2200 laser projector allows the user to adjust the power levels to meet the individual requirements of the installation. Power levels can be set to achieve the brightest image or the longest runtime of the light source - or anywhere in between. 

Network and control

A wide range of control options make it easy to monitor and manage the projector. Optoma projectors can be easily monitored and controlled with virtually any control system thanks to a wide range of RS232 commands. The Dynamic Discovery protocol built into the ZU2200 allows easy installation with any AMX control system. With the compatible Crestron RoomView® software, you can switch on and off, monitor and control up to 250 projectors simultaneously from any PC via LAN. Programme switching on and off, control and adjust settings via a simple web browser. The ability to send emergency messages or automatic lamp replacement reminders is also programmable.

Versatile connection options with the Optoma ZU2200: HDBaseT™, HDMI, DVI, PbP or PiP

Send uncompressed Full HD video, audio, network and control commands via a single CAT-type cable over up to 100 metres without signal loss - for quick and easy installations. HDBaseT™ simplifies installation and saves time and money. The two HDMI 2.0 connections allow you to connect laptops, for example, and project your content directly onto the big screen. The included USB-A port supplies power to an HDMI dongle such as Google Chromecast, for example. In addition, the ZU2200 can transmit signals via the HDMI ports and the DVI-D port simultaneously to deliver PbP or PiP from two digital sources - perfect for video conferencing and other collaborative applications. The Optoma ZU2200 offers both PBP (Picture-By-Picture) and PIP (Picture-In-Picture) functionality, allowing you to use the display as a multiscreen solution at any time. This function is very useful if you want to display several contents at the same time, e.g. to be able to carry out a direct comparison. However, this split-screen function is also necessary in control centres, for example to be able to view several live videos at the same time.

Redundant input with fast switching

The unique function for recognising signal inputs ensures immediate switching of the signal source if a device serving as a signal source fails. This feature ensures that a picture is always displayed in mission-critical installations such as control rooms, live events or other similar scenarios.

PJLink and Telnet

The PJLink protocol built into the Optoma ZU2200 laser projector allows easy installation with PJLink compatible control systems. The projector is also able to receive commands via Telnet, allowing easy installation with Telnet compatible control systems.
