The Optoma ZU1100 WUXGA laser projector is part of the Optoma DuraCore laser range, which features a longer life light source and an independently certified IP6X dust rating for increased safety. With a very high brightness of 9600 Ansi Lumen, the Optoma ZU1100 installation projector guarantees a constant light output of up to 30,000 hours. The outstanding image quality is complemented by the WUXGA resolution (1900x1200), which enables the projector to achieve visually impressive, lifelike images with exceptional detail. The projector's laser light source guarantees low maintenance and maximum reliability. The ZU1100 is also characterised by its high flexibility, as it offers seven interchangeable lens options, including an ultra-short throw lens and a dome lens. Use the Optoma ZU1100 installation projector for large-scale projections or stacking: In addition to the integrated edge-blending and warping functions, it namely also offers support for portrait format and 360-degree alignment. There is also an HDBaseT™ input, which gives you additional control flexibility and reduces installation complexity.
Get outstanding images with DuraCore technology
The ZU1100 laser projector uses high-quality laser technology to project the best possible image. In many situations, the perceived brightness of laser projectors can be twice that of a conventional lamp model. They also provide greater efficiency to ensure uniform brightness. In addition, the ZU1100 offers superior colour performance, instant on/off and an exceptional lifetime of up to 30,000 hours. Because the Optoma ZU1100 laser projector is equipped with DuraCore technology, you get industry-leading runtimes as they utilise advanced laser diode cooling techniques and an innovative dust-resistant design. In fact, all Optoma projectors are designed for 24/7 use. The projector guarantee is based on standard use during a normal working day. For optimum performance, it is recommended to switch it off or into standby for 30 minutes every 24 hours to extend the life of the lamp.
Integrated warping and edge blending processor
The Optoma ZU1100 installation projector has an integrated warping and edge blending processor. Warping, also known as distortion correction, is the process of adjusting the projected image to fit an irregularly shaped or curved surface. For example, if you want to project an image onto a concave or convex surface, the image may appear distorted. The warping function then gives you a correct and clear display. In addition, the ZU1100 also offers the edge blending function: This seamlessly merges the overlapping areas of two or more images projected next to each other or overlapping with each other. This is of course particularly practical if you want to create a large image with several projectors to create a homogeneous overall image. To be able to use these functions with the ZU1100, you need a compatible multi-output graphics card with overlap function.
Full lens shift and keystone correction
With the horizontal keystone correction and the individually adjustable image corners, you can create a perfectly angular image. Ideal for uneven walls or unusual projector placements. In addition, Auto Keystone Correction automatically adjusts the keystone effect when the projector is off-axis to create an aligned image. To perfectly align the image to the projection surface, the ZU1100 projector has a vertical and horizontal keystone correction of +/-20°. However, a keystone correction always has an influence on the image quality and therefore, if possible, a lens shift correction should always be favoured. This is because the lens shift directly shifts the lens and allows you to perfectly adjust the image to the screen without affecting the image quality. Depending on which lens you choose, you have a greater variety of positioning options. This makes it easier to align the projector and provides a wider range of image sizes.
Amazing colour, high contrast and brightness, WUXGA resolution
The Optoma ZU1100 gives you reliable colour performance: from accurate sRGB colours to razor-sharp presentations, it always offers the display mode that suits your needs. Give your images more depth, because the ZU1100 laser projector's high contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 makes white tones appear brighter and black tones appear deep black. This brings your images to life and texts appear sharp and clear - ideal for business and teaching. The included Extreme Black technology ensures that the laser diodes are switched off completely as soon as a completely black image frame is recognised. This feature is perfect for situations where a total image blackout is required. The Optoma ZU1100 also has a WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels in 16:10 widescreen format. With a higher resolution than Full HD, WUXGA offers a wider viewing area for engineering graphics, Excel spreadsheets or PowerPoint presentations and is therefore perfect for your everyday business or school work. The projector combines the ultra-high brightness of 9600 Ansi lumens (11500 lumens with fixed lens) with vibrant colours for a vivid, true-to-life image even in brightly lit environments. The Colour Management System (CMS) function produces true-to-life colours and allows you to adjust the colours precisely for optimal accuracy. In addition, the Optoma laser projector also offers you the ability to display content in 3D from virtually any 3D source. The Optoma ZU1100 can also project images along the horizontal axis over 360 degrees. Ideal for digital signage applications: Rotate the projector 90 degrees to project a portrait image. The advanced Light Sensing technology allows you to set brightness levels that remain unchanged over time. Ideal for providing constant brightness in fine-tuned installations.
HDR compatible
Optoma's HDR compatible projectors are able to receive and display HDR meta data. This allows you to see even more detail and texture. Objects are displayed more realistically and these additional details create a greater sense of depth - as if you were looking through a window.
IP6X certification - airtight optical unit
The Optoma ZU1100 is certified (independently tested) to IEC Standard 60529 with an IP6X dust resistance rating. Outstanding dust resistance combined with impressive brightness provide industry leading durability - essential for 24/7 operation in challenging environments.
Wired remote control connection
The wired remote control connection allows you to control all aspects of the projector individually without having to be in line of sight of the projector - essential when using multiple devices during live events. (Cable optionally available).
Automatic switch-off function and True AV Mute
Switch off your projector instantly without a second thought. This means you don't have to wait for the projector to cool down before switching it off. The ZU1100's True AV Mute allows you to switch your projector's light source on and off at the touch of a button. In contrast to the standard AV Mute function, no light is emitted from the projector - for a 100% black image.
Constant Power
The Constant Power function of the Optoma ZU1100 allows the user to adjust the power levels to meet the individual requirements of the installation. Power levels can be set to achieve the brightest image or the longest runtime of the light source - or somewhere in between.
Network and control
A wide range of control options make the projector easy to monitor and manage. Optoma projectors can be easily monitored and controlled with virtually any control system thanks to a wide range of RS232 commands. The Dynamic Discovery protocol built into the ZU1100 laser projector allows easy installation with any AMX control system. With the compatible Crestron
Connectivity options with the Optoma ZU1100
Send uncompressed Full HD video, audio, network and control commands over a single CAT-type cable up to 100 metres without signal loss for quick and easy installations. HDBaseT™ simplifies installation and saves time and money. The two HDMI 2.0 connections allow you to connect laptops, for example, and project your content directly onto the big screen. The included USB-A port supplies power to an HDMI dongle such as Google Chromecast, for example. In addition, the ZU1100 can transmit signals via the HDMI ports and the DVI-D port simultaneously to deliver PbP or PiP from two digital sources - perfect for video conferencing and other collaborative applications. The Optoma ZU1100 offers both PBP (Picture-By-Picture) and PIP (Picture-In-Picture) functionality, allowing you to use the display as a multiscreen solution at any time. This function is very useful if you want to display several contents at the same time, e.g. to be able to carry out a direct comparison. However, this split-screen function is also necessary in operations control centres, for example to be able to watch several live videos at the same time. With the PiP function, a smaller image (e.g. a window or an image section) is superimposed on the main image on the screen. The main image remains visible in the background and is normally displayed larger and more dominant. With the PbP function, the screen is divided into several sections. Each section of the screen is a separate input source (e.g. a PC, laptop, smartphone, etc.).
