HDR compatible

All HDR compatible projectors from Optoma, including the ZH606e, are capable of receiving and displaying HDR meta data. This allows you to see even more detail and texture. Objects are displayed more realistically and these additional details create a greater sense of depth - as if you were looking through a window.

DuraCore

The Optoma ZH606e projector utilises high quality laser technology to project the best possible image. In many situations, the perceived brightness of laser projectors can be twice that of a conventional lamp model. They also provide greater efficiency to ensure even brightness. In addition, the ZH450 offers superior colour performance, instant on/off and an exceptional lifespan of up to 30,000 hours. As the Optoma ZH606e laser projector is equipped with DuraCore technology, you get industry-leading runtimes as they utilise advanced laser diode cooling techniques and an innovative dust-resistant design. In fact, all Optoma projectors are designed for 24/7 use. The projector guarantee is based on standard use during a normal working day. For optimum performance, it is recommended to switch it off or into standby for 30 minutes every 24 hours to extend the lamp life.

IP6X airtight optical unit

The Optoma ZH606e is independently tested and certified to IEC Standard 60529 with an IP6X dust resistance rating. Outstanding dust resistance combined with impressive brightness provide industry-leading durability - essential for 24/7 operation in challenging environments.

Vertical lens shift and keystone correction

The vertical lens shift simplifies your installations by offering a wider range of placement options. This means that the Optoma projector can be positioned more flexibly and allows a wide range of image sizes. With the horizontal keystone correction and the individually adjustable image corners, you can create a perfectly angular image. Ideal for uneven walls or unusual projector placements. Auto Keystone Correction automatically adjusts the keystone effect when the projector is off-axis to create an aligned image. To perfectly align the image to the projection surface, the ZH606e projector from Optoma has a vertical and horizontal keystone correction of +/-30°.

PJLink and Telnet

The PJLink protocol built into the ZH606e laser projector allows easy installation with PJLink compatible control systems. In addition, the Optoma projector is able to receive commands via Telnet, allowing easy installation with Telnet compatible control systems.

MHL

Turn your projector into a smart display with MHL and just one cable. This allows you to view documents and presentations, stream videos and share photos on the big screen. You can also use MHL to connect and power an HDCast Pro (sold separately).

Portrait projection

Ideal for digital signage applications You can rotate your ZH606e laser projector 90 degrees to project a portrait image.

High contrast ratio

Give your images more depth - a high contrast ratio makes white tones appear brighter and black tones appear deep black. This brings your images to life and makes text appear sharp and clear - ideal for business and teaching.

Network and control

The projector is easy to monitor and manage thanks to a wide range of control options. Optoma projectors can be easily monitored and controlled with virtually any control system thanks to a wide range of RS232 commands. The Dynamic Discovery protocol built into the ZH606e projector allows easy installation with any AMX control system. With the compatible Crestron RoomView® software, you can switch on and off, monitor and control up to 250 projectors simultaneously from any PC. Programme on/off control and adjust settings via a simple web browser. The option to send emergency messages or automatic lamp change reminders is also programmable.

Full 3D

Optoma projectors can display 3D content from virtually any 3D source - including 3D compatible graphics cards, 3D broadcast systems such as 3D Blu-ray players, 3D TV programmes and games consoles, as well as the latest generation of 3D media servers.

USB power

Use the USB power connection to power an HDMI dongle, such as the Optoma QuickCast or the Google Chromcast dongle.

AV mute function and quick resume

Always stay in control with the AV mute function. Direct your audience's attention away from the screen by fading out the image. If the projector is accidentally switched off, you can switch it on again immediately thanks to the Quick Resume feature.

Automatic switch-off function and Direct Power On

It can happen that the projector is switched on when it is not being used. To save energy in such cases, the automatic switch-off function ensures that the projector is switched off after a pre-set time. You can also switch off your projector immediately without hesitation - this means that you do not have to wait for the projector to cool down before switching it off. With Direct Power On, the projector is switched on immediately when power is applied. This avoids additional switching on via remote control or keypad - ideal for use in rooms with a "master" power switch.

24/7 operation

All Optoma projectors are designed for 24/7 use. The use of the best components ensures absolutely unbeatable reliability. Lamps are covered by the standard warranty. The projector warranty is based on standard use during a normal working day. To achieve optimum performance, it is recommended that the laser projector is switched off for 30 minutes every 24 hours or switched to standby to extend the life of the lamp.

DuraCare warranty (optional)

The optional DuraCare warranty package from Optoma offers a warranty that is designed for very heavy use. It provides higher average brightness and exceptional reliability for over 5 years or 24,000 hours. This additional package offers the further benefit of a preventative maintenance service at 12,000 hours, bringing back the performance of the day of manufacture.

The 12,000 hour reconditioning service includes
