The Optoma ZH520 is a compact and user-friendly Full HD 1080p DuraCore laser projector. The Optoma ZH520 laser projector requires minimal maintenance, is mercury-free which further reduces the environmental footprint and reduces power consumption by up to 45% compared to lamp projectors. The energy-saving DuraCore laser technology has IP6X certification and ensures a long product life of up to 30,000 hours. With a brightness of 5500 Ansi Lumen and Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080, the ZH520 laser projector delivers powerful image performance with flexible installation functions and extensive connection options. Use the ZH520 laser projector in conference and meeting rooms and other corporate areas. With its compact design, it is easy to install. For optimal settings and flexible customisation options, the ZH520 projector has a 1.3x zoom and 360-degree and portrait projection. For ultimate convenience, the projector has an RS232 port for monitoring and control and a built-in speaker.
Optoma laser projector with DuraCore technologyThe
ZH520 laser projector utilises high quality laser technology to project the best possible image. In many situations, the perceived brightness of laser projectors can be twice that of a conventional lamp model. They also provide greater efficiency to ensure uniform brightness. In addition, the ZH520 offers superior colour performance, instant on/off and an exceptional lifespan of up to 30,000 hours. As the Optoma ZH520 laser projector is equipped with DuraCore technology, you get industry-leading runtimes as they utilise advanced laser diode cooling techniques and an innovative dust-resistant design. In fact, all Optoma projectors are designed for 24/7 use. The projector guarantee is based on standard use during a normal working day. For optimum performance, it is recommended to switch it off or into standby for 30 minutes every 24 hours to extend the life of the lamp.
Full HD 1080p, 5500 Ansi Lumen, 3D compatibilityAs
already mentioned, the ZH520 has 1080p resolution and therefore delivers razor-sharp and detailed HD images - without any downscaling or compression. The projector delivers a brightness of 5500 Ansi Lumen for a realistic image even in brightly lit environments. The Optoma ZH520 guarantees impressively rich colours in any environment and for any content. The laser projectors work with the Rec.709 colour scheme, the international HDTV standard, to ensure accurate colour reproduction. In addition, the Optoma ZH520 laser projector also offers you the option of displaying content in 3D from virtually any 3D source. The Optoma ZH520 can also project images along the horizontal axis over 360 degrees.
Horizontal and vertical keystone correction and square adjustment
The automatic keystone correction, also known as keystone correction, automatically adjusts the unwanted keystone effect. To align the image perfectly to the projection surface, the ZH520 projector from Optoma has a vertical and horizontal keystone correction of +/-30°.
OMS - Advanced Remote Management SolutionThe
Optoma Management Suite (OMS Local)™ includes all Optoma display solutions in a single location and serves as an interface for simultaneous management, monitoring and diagnosis of problems with all devices. Whether it's multiple devices in a school, exhibition hall or office, OMS Local is perfect for staying in control. OMS™ Local also helps alert users when a problem occurs, and for an added layer of preparedness, institutions can also use this platform to set alarms and send emergency announcements. OMS enables advanced control of selected models including LED display, interactive flat screens and projection, which is why this remote management solution can also be used for the ZH520.
Network and controlThanks to
a wide range of control options, the Optoma ZH520 projector is easy to monitor and manage. Optoma projectors can be easily monitored and controlled with virtually any control system thanks to a wide range of RS232 commands. The Dynamic Discovery protocol built into the ZH520 allows easy installation with any AMX control system. With the compatible Crestron RoomView® software you can, for example, switch on and off, monitor and control up to 250 projectors simultaneously from any PC. For example, you can programme the switching on and off, control and adjustment of settings via a simple web browser. The option to send emergency messages or automatic lamp replacement reminders can also be programmed.
Connection options for the Optoma ZH520The
following ports are available for the connectivity of the Optoma ZH520: The two HDMI 2.0 ports allow you to connect laptops, for example, and project your content directly onto the big screen. The included USB-A port supplies power to an HDMI dongle such as Google Chromecast, for example. The short-throw projector has an integrated 15-watt speaker, which can be supplemented with external speakers to further optimise the sound.

the Optoma ZH520 short-throw laser projector, you reduce power consumption by up to 47% compared to lamp-based solutions. The projector is a compact product manufactured with fewer materials to minimise the logistical environmental impact. This starts with the design, through production and logistics to packaging made from non-toxic and recycled materials. This is why the ZH520 has an environmentally friendly housing design made from 50% PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastic and the packaging contains up to 97% recyclable materials.

.The use of the best components ensures absolutely unbeatable reliability. Lamps are covered by the standard warranty. The projector warranty is based on standard use during a normal working day.
To achieve optimum performance, it is recommended to switch it off for 30 minutes every 24 hours or to switch it to standby to extend the life of the lamp.
