The high-quality W320USTi ultra-short distance lens delivers large images from a short distance. This avoids glare and shadow effects, as the projector offers you an ultra-short projection ratio of just 0.27. This means you can achieve a 100 cm wide image from a distance of just 50 cm. With a display, a image of this size would be significantly more expensive, which is why this ultra-short-throw projector has a much more favourable "price-per-inch" ratio and is therefore more cost-effective for you.

Whether it's movies, TV shows or video games, the W320USTi delivers impressively rich colours in any environment and for any content. The projector combines the brightness of 4000 Ansi lumens with vibrant colours for a vivid, true-to-life image even in brightly lit environments. The Optoma projector uses the Rec.709 colour scheme, the international HDTV standard, to ensure accurate colour reproduction. The high contrast ratio of 20,000:1 adds depth to your images - a high contrast ratio makes whites appear brighter and blacks appear deep black. This brings your images to life and text appears sharp and clear - ideal for business and education. The Optoma W320USTi projector also offers you the option of displaying content in 3D from virtually any 3D source.

Interactive TouchBeam finger-touch technology As

already mentioned, the Optoma W320USTi is an interactive ultra-short throw projector. It works with the interactive TouchBeam finger-touch technology: The TouchBeam module included in the scope of delivery is mounted on the wall or directly on the whiteboard. The module then covers the entire whiteboard with a thin, invisible infrared light. When a finger or touch pen passes through the TouchBeam, the IR light is reflected back to the IR camera. The camera module tracks several touch points and reports the positions to a PC or notebook via USB. For optimum performance of the touch function, the whiteboard must be flat (without dents or bulges) and in good condition.

Network and control 

The projector is easy to monitor and manage thanks to a wide range of control options. Optoma projectors can be easily monitored and controlled with virtually any control system thanks to a large number of RS232 commands. The Dynamic Discovery protocol built into the W320USTi allows easy installation with any AMX control system. With the compatible Crestron RoomView® software, you can switch on and off, monitor and control up to 250 projectors simultaneously from any PC via LAN. Programme switching on and off, control and adjust settings via a simple web browser. The option to send emergency messages or automatic lamp replacement reminders can also be programmed.

Connectivity options for the Optoma W320USTi

The following ports are available for the connectivity of the Optoma W320USTi: The two HDMI 2.0 and VGA connections allow you to connect laptops, for example, and project your content directly onto the big screen. The included USB-A port supplies power to an HDMI dongle such as Google Chromecast, for example. The ultra-short throw projector has an integrated 16-watt speaker that can be supplemented with external speakers to further optimise the sound. Focus your audience's attention on the important things with the USB mouse control with built-in laser pointer.

The W320USTi's Eco+ technology combines high contrast, extended lamp life and energy-saving features to minimise power consumption. With the Optoma projector's specially designed lamp modes, you can reduce power consumption by up to 70%. Each mode also has a positive effect on lamp life and reduces maintenance and running costs.

Automatic switch-off function and Eco AV Mute

It can happen that the W320USTi is switched on when it is not in use. To save energy in these cases, the automatic switch-off function ensures that the projector is switched off after a pre-set time. You can also switch off your laser projector immediately without worrying - this means you don't have to wait for it to cool down before switching it off. The projector's ECO AV mute function allows you to stay in control during your presentation. Direct your audience's attention away from the screen by fading out when the image is not needed. This immediately reduces power consumption by up to 70% and also extends the life of your lamp.

Direct Power On and Quick Resume

The W320USTi is switched on directly when power is supplied. This avoids additional switching on via remote control or keypad - ideal for use in rooms with a "master" power switch. If you accidentally switch the projector off, you can switch it on again immediately thanks to the Quick Resume feature.

24/7 operation

All Optoma projectors are designed for 24/7 use. The use of the best components ensures absolutely unbeatable reliability. The standard lamp guarantee applies to the light source. The projector guarantee is based on standard use during a normal working day. To achieve optimum performance, it is recommended to switch it off for 30 minutes every 24 hours or switch it to standby to extend the life of the lamp.
