The projector warranty is based on standard use within a normal working day. For optimum performance, it is recommended to switch it off or into standby for 30 minutes every 24 hours to extend the lamp life.

Perfect image thanks to keystone correction, four-corner adjustment and geometric correction

The automatic keystone correction, also known as keystone correction, automatically adjusts the unwanted keystone effect. To align the image perfectly to the projection surface, the UHZ55 projector from Optoma has a vertical and horizontal keystone correction of +/-30°. However, the keystone correction always has an influence on the image quality, which is why motorised lens shift correction is always preferable if possible. This is because the lens shift moves the lens directly, allowing you to adjust the image perfectly to the screen without affecting the image quality. Thanks to the included lens shift, the Optoma UHZ55 projector offers you a greater variety of positioning options. This makes it easier to align the projector and provides a wider range of image sizes. The projector has a vertical lens shift of +10%. What also sets the UHZ55 apart is its geometric correction function: adjust individual points to make the image perfectly square with the advanced, integrated geometric correction tool/function. Geometric correction is ideal if you don't want to use a screen and have an uneven wall to project onto. A 3x3 distortion is available to you, i.e. you can adjust the image distortion using a 9-point correction. Using the four-corner adjustment, you can correct the projected image from each corner to create a rectangular image if the projection surface is not flat.

Don't have a white wall or projection screen? No problem! With the "Wall colour" setting, you can change the projected image to match the colour of your wall. Simply choose between six options for blackboard, light yellow, light green, light blue, pink and grey walls to get the most accurate colour space possible.

Thanks to input lag, you can watch your videos without delay: Input lag in projectors refers to the time it takes for a projector to receive a signal and project the corresponding image onto the screen. With the UHZ55, input lag is reduced to up to 4 ms (1080p 240 Hz). Most films are shot at 24 frames per second (fps). Optoma projectors can recognise HD sources and display films at 24 fps as the director intended.

Network and control

The Optoma UHZ66 projector is easy to monitor and manage thanks to a wide range of control options. Optoma projectors can be easily monitored and controlled with virtually any control system thanks to a wide range of RS232 commands. The Dynamic Discovery protocol built into the UHZ66 allows easy installation with any AMX control system. With the compatible Crestron RoomView® software, for example, you can switch on and off, monitor and control up to 250 projectors simultaneously from any PC. For example, you can programme the switching on and off, control and adjustment of settings via a simple web browser. The option to send emergency messages or automatic reminders to change lamps can also be programmed.

Integrated media player and apps

With the UHZ55, you can show your presentations directly from your projector without the need for an external device such as a laptop or PC Simply use the integrated media player: copy your documents, images and videos to a USB stick and show the content on the big screen. For apps such as Netflix, YouTube and Spotify, the UHZ55 has the App Store - Marketplace installed. Perfect for streaming films, TV shows and clips.
