The Lumens VC-MS10 is a compact performance miracle. A video conferencing camera, speakers and microphones packed into a stylish housing make meetings fun again. The video conferencing system is packed with technology and functions that will make your day-to-day meetings much easier. For example, the 4K camera from Lumens has a lens with a pan and tilt function. The integrated autoframing technology automatically moves the camera and adjusts the zoom so that everyone present is perfectly focussed in the picture. In a video conference  it is extremely important that every participant can be seen and that some do not fall out of the picture. In combination with pre-set presets , positions can be memorised in order to focus on certain people, for example . 

Sound is another aspect that should not be forgotten. The VC-MS10 has an integrated soundbar with a 20 watt speaker and a tuned bass port. The Lumens VC-MS10 complete video conferencing system can work with any standard video conferencing software and cloud-based applications that you use on your Windows PC or MAC PC. The camera is Barco ClickShare CX-certified and also compatible with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco WebEx and many more.

Setting up the Lumens VC-MS10 is very simple, as complete systems are much easier to handle. Attach the VC-MS10 centrally below or above the display using the TV bracket supplied. Use the supplied power cable to power the video conferencing system. You can either connect an existing computer to this video conferencing camera from Lumens or you can use one of the Barco ClickShare CX systems, for example. The connection to the PC or the Barco ClickShare CX systems is then made via USB 3.0 cable. That's all you need and you can start setting up the Lumens VC-MS10 for the first time.

On the subject of security, the Lumens VC-MS10 shows you at all times whether the camera is currently on or off and whether the microphone is currently working. The video conference camera has an LED ring around the lens for this purpose, which immediately shows you the current status:

3. Blue=video conference in progress

Interesting fact: Like most webcams, the VC-MS10 is also connected via USB. When the camera is connected to the network via Ethernet, the VC-MS10 also acts as a bridge to establish the Internet connection to the host laptop via USB. This means that the PC or Mac running the video conferencing software is no longer reliant on WiFi for streaming. There is also no need to connect an Ethernet cable to the computer to access the network - all connectivity (video, audio, control and network data) is routed to the Lumens camera via a single USB port. This approach saves time cabling the laptop, reduces the risk of cable clutter, delivers a solid data connection and provides reliable two-way video communication.

The Lumens VC-MS10 is the perfect all-in-one video conferencing solution for small to medium-sized meeting and conference rooms. The high-quality PTZ camera can be used like a normal webcam at any time and is compatible with virtually any standard video conferencing software or cloud solution. The 4x digital zoom delivered decent results in our test and is more than suitable for the application. The VC-MS10 absolutely surprised us, especially when it came to speech intelligibility. The participants were always clear and intelligible and voices were never distorted or sounded tinny. Thanks to the 5-year manufacturer's warranty, there is no need to worry about the longevity of the product. We think it's great that you don't need to purchase an additional bracket to attach the speakers to a trolley or display, as everything is already included in the scope of delivery. We tested the Lumens VC-MS10 and found it to be a great solution. The favourable purchase price is more than fair for the features on offer and we can therefore recommend this all-in-one video conferencing solution.
