The high-quality video conferencing camera is designed for small to medium-sized rooms.

Experience perfect video quality at all times, both in the home office and in meeting rooms. The ThinkSmart Cam from Lenovo resolves at up to 4K at 30FPS and 1080p at 60FPS. Even in rooms with poor lighting conditions, the camera delivers images with high contrast and vivid colours thanks to HDR. The high field of view of up to 125 degrees covers all participants in a room.

With an integrated VPU with AI capabilities for conferencing and meetings, the Lenovo ThinkSmart Cam enables both auto-zoom and auto-framing for more natural video conferencing. With active speaker tracking, the camera automatically detects and follows the current speaker as well. Whiteboard detection is helpful in meetings where you want to include a whiteboard in the meeting. This way, the camera does not zoom so far out of the picture and ensures that, in addition to the speaker, the whiteboard can also be recognised and read by the person opposite at all times. AI people counting generates ongoing room usage data for facilities and IT teams. AI features are controlled through Lenovo ThinkSmart Manager, which is included with the purchase of a Lenovo ThinkSmart computing device such as the Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub or Lenovo ThinkSmart Edition Tiny. When used as a standalone device, i.e. if you want to use the camera with another notebook or PC, the ThinkSmart Cam Control software is available as a download in the Lenovo ThinkSmart Manager.

Our tip: In our test, the Lenovo Smart Cam delivered a much sharper image via the Windows 10 camera app - compared to the ThinkSmart Cam Control software - and the speaker tracking and zoom function also delivered much better results. For high-quality transmission, you should definitely use a USB-C 3.2 Gen1 cable to also benefit from the 4K resolution. The upgrade is actually worth it.

The Lenovo ThinkSmart Cam is certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms. This is an advantage for you, as the camera is thus perfectly suitable for both systems. Thanks to the stylish housing and the look of the camera, the Lenovo ThinkSmart Cam also fits seamlessly into classy modern office environments. It can be set up as a standalone device and mounted on a wall or display at any time. When integrated with Lenovo ThinkSmart Manager, the Lenovo ThinkSmart Cam can be centrally managed and customised to meet the needs of users or the room. If the Lenovo ThinkSmart Cam is not connected to a Lenovo ThinkSmart computing device with Lenovo ThinkSmart Manager, a configuration app is always available for download as described in the previous paragraph.

By default, the Lenovo ThinkSmart Cam is designed to be placed on a monitor or display. In addition, the camera can of course also be mounted above or below a display, which is often desired in larger rooms. Lenovo supplies the necessary accessories directly. For tripod mounting, the camera naturally has the necessary threaded screw. The Lenovo ThinkSmart Cam can be placed on a table or mounted on a wall or underneath a display at any time.
