Good sound should be part of every professional conference and meeting room, as it is no less important for high-quality and professional video conferencing. Even though nowadays almost every professional display has integrated speakers, this performance is usually not sufficient to be really convincing. The highs and mids are regularly lost and you simply don't want that in a business meeting. This is where the ThinkSmart Bar from Lenovo comes into play: the sound bar has 4 stereo speakers with an output power of 20+20 watts. This means that a volume of up to 97dB can be achieved at any time, if desired. For comparison: 100dB corresponds to the noise of a discotheque or a circular saw. In large rooms, this is the perfect solution for bringing the sound to the farthest corners of the room, and in smaller rooms, you can enjoy the great sound even at half the volume.
The Lenovo Sound Bar has an integrated DSP that provides noise cancellation and effectively prevents annoying echoes and background noise. The Lenovo Sound Bar has 4 built-in microphones that can cover a 180-degree area at a distance of up to 8.5 metres. For most conference and meeting rooms this range should already be sufficient , but if your video conference room is larger, Lenovo also offers you the right solution for this. Purchase the ThinkSmart Bar X-Large Set directly and you will receive two additional satellite microphones for the table in addition to the soundbar.
The Lenovo ThinkSmart Bar is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom Rooms. The soundbar can be used as a stand-alone device or in conjunction with a signage display. The soundbar can then be managed either via the ThinkSmart Manager console, if you are using a ThinkSmart computer, or you can simply download a configuration app. The sound bar with integrated microphones can be connected to your PC, smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth 5.0 at any time. This simply saves you the annoying search for a suitable cable and gives you a high-quality, wireless hands-free system. For a wired connection with a PC, both a USB-A 2.0 and a USB-C port are available.
For wall mounting, the matching bracket is directly included in the scope of delivery. The ThinkSmart Bar weighs just 1.9 kg and can be placed on a table or mounted on a wall or below a display at any time.
