The new LG 75TC3D-B Multi-Touch DigitalBoard uses P-CAP (capacitive) technology and can detect up to 40 simultaneous touches. Thanks to the anti-reflective IPS panel with 500 cd/m² luminosity and a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels (UHD), the LG 75TC3D-B delivers a crisp and clear image at all times. The design of the 75TC3D-B is simple, timeless and very elegant, making it the perfect solution for demanding businesses. Of course, the display also offers many other features, such as uncomplicated sharing of content via mobile devices, which we will discuss in more detail later.





First of all, we would like to take a look at the pre-installed IDB app, which was developed by LG especially for the TC3D-B displays. This makes the purchase of external players or additional software licences a superfluous matter - switch on, set up and off you go. This app transforms the LG 75TC3D-B into an innovative and multifunctional whiteboard with an outstanding writing experience that, thanks to P-CAP technology, feels as realistic and precise as hardly any other digital whiteboard. Of course, the IDB app offers much more than that. You can easily connect to the display via your notebook (wired or wireless) and edit and share your content with the other participants on the large touch screen. Afterwards, the revised slide can be saved as a PDF file on your laptop and opened again at any time.

The pen supplied also offers a range of functions that make using the IDB app even more convenient. You can choose between different pen thicknesses and colours or mark your most important information with a highlighter. If you make a mistake, you can of course correct it at any time by either using your hand or selecting the eraser in the tool bar.

Another very important feature is the automatic source detection and switching. LG has set the priority of the sources on the 75TC3D-B in such a way that notebooks connected to the side connections of the screen for a short time are activated first. So when a notebook is plugged in there and connected with the USB touch cable, the currently displayed content from the participant's laptop immediately appears on the display and can be operated via touch. This saves the need to switch sources manually and allows for a smooth transition of work.



The whiteboard software can be operated easily and intuitively. A special touch menu is used for this purpose, which you can call up by simply pressing lightly on the LG 75TC3D-B. The menu then allows you to call up various functions. The menu can then be used to call up various functions, such as source selection, the settings menu or the IDB app. Afterwards, the touch menu disappears again and the full screen area is available for working. By the way: The touch function of the 75TC3D-B can be deactivated/activated at the touch of a button. This allows you to use the display as a display for your advertisements, photos, websites or similar content, for example, during the time when touch is not required.


LG uses a high-quality IPS panel for the 75TC3D-B, which is enormously viewing angle stable (178° / 178°) and offers an almost lifelike colour display. Thanks to a 70% reduction in blue light, the display is also very easy on the eyes and is therefore ideal for long meetings and discussions. Especially for presenters who stand directly in front of the screen all the time, this function is a real relief. The anti-reflective front panel reduces the reflection of the LG 75TC3D-B to a minimum, so that the DigitalBoard also cuts an excellent figure in brighter environments. The built-in brightness sensor adjusts the brightness of the LG 75TC3D-B to the environment, which has a very positive effect on energy consumption and reduces operating costs.


Finally, we would like to briefly mention other features that the LG 75TC3D-B offers you. The LG 75TC3D-B is compatible with Crestron media control systems and can be controlled from a central position in your network. Especially for large companies with their own IT department, this often plays a decisive role and makes the daily routine of your system administrators much easier. Furthermore, the LG 75TC3D-B allows you to display several displays simultaneously without the need for a matrix. Either side by side in PBP (Picture-by-Picture) format or by inserting a second content in the corner via PIP (Picture-in-Picture), which once again significantly increases the flexibility when using the display.




The performance data of the SoC (System-on-Chip) does not have to hide either. A powerful processor and an internal memory of 64GB (8GB occupied by the system) are installed as standard in the LG 75TC3D-B and offer sufficient performance for the smooth running of work processes. Also on board is a WiFi module, so you can choose whether to connect the LG 75TC3D-B to your company network via a LAN cable or wirelessly.

The connectivity of the LG 75TC3D-B is another attribute that can be very important for a positive decision for or against this display, and that's why we'd also like to include this information. In addition to several HDMI connections (3), you can also transmit the video signal via Displayport, DVI-D or VGA. Two USB ports (one of them USB 3.0) are available for playing media content or opening documents without a PC, and there is also a port for audio transmission via external speakers. IT administrators will also be pleased with the RS232C input and output and the RJ45 interface.
