The LG 55EW5P-M is a transparent OLED display with a screen diagonal of 55 inches and a native Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Thanks to the high transparency of 43%, the LG 55EW5P-M OLED signage display blends seamlessly and naturally into any environment. Install the 55EW5P-M with its see-through view in your desired locations and create open and interactive spaces. With a brightness of 600 cd/m² (APL 25%, without glass) and 200 cd/m² (APL 100%, without glass), the LG 55EW5P-M display offers razor-sharp images and high colour quality.
High transparency
The LG Transparent OLED Signage Display 55EW5P-M is first and foremost a real highlight due to its transparency. Information, images and videos can be displayed without obscuring objects behind them. The 55EW5P-M OLED display harmonises perfectly with its surroundings by combining vivid and clear colours with high transparency. It can therefore also provide a visual enhancement for objects located behind it, creating a "wow" effect. With a high transparency of 43%, which is far above conventional LCD transparent displays, the LG 55EW5P-M gives you a seamless and natural integration into its surroundings.
OLED panel technology for vivid colours
The LG 55EW5P-M signage display also features LG's OLED panel technology. The self-illuminating pixels ensure precise and vivid colours, even when the 55EW5P-M display is transparent . This brings the content to life and makes it difficult for viewers to separate the content from the real objects behind the screen. The content can only be clearly distinguished from the actual objects when viewed from the side . With OLED panel technology, organic light-emitting diodes directly generate the coloured image. However, both the materials and the manufacturing process are very different from LEDs. The OLED materials dissolve in water or solvents and can therefore be sprayed or printed onto a substrate. The LEDs convert electricity into light, the brightness is proportional to the current intensity and can directly generate a coloured image themselves. They are available in red, green and blue and all other colours are formed with their overlay. The backlight is completely eliminated. OLEDs also have a very fast response time, which means that they can display images smoothly, without blurring or motion blur - in the LG 55EW5P-M this is a response time of 0.1 ms (G to G).
The tempered front glass protects the screen from external impact, and its certified safety design ensures that it is strong enough to withstand shocks and vibrations from the environment, such as moving trains .
The LG 55EW5P-M is based on LG webOS 7.5 and has 16 GB of built-in memory. It is also compatible with LG SuperSign. SuperSign CMS is a software-based content management solution that allows you to plan and edit your content. Connectivity
In terms of connections, you have an HDMI connection (HDCP 2.2/1.4), as well as a DisplayPort (HDCP 1.3) and two USB 2.0 connections for image transmission. A DisplayPort and an audio output are available at . Integration into your existing company network is either via the RJ45 (LAN) connection on the display. For use in room control solutions, both an RS232C input and output are available.
The LG 55EW5P-M offers easy and stable installation thanks to its metal edges and structure. In other words, the metal edge attached to the bezel areas increases the rigidity of the product. In addition, M4 holes (screws), which are widely used worldwide, are integrated into all rear corners to facilitate installation.
The LG Transparent OLED Signage Display 55EW5P-M is designed as a partially mounted screen, which means it can be installed in different ways to fit into existing structures and spaces. There is the standalone variant as well as ceiling and wall mount variants. The displays can also be tiled together to create an immersive screen and allow installation on large shop windows. There are no limits to the applications of transparent OLED displays, and they can complement and enhance any venue where they are installed .
