The HDFury 2x2 HDMI matrix switcher Vertex HDF0110 is a multi-talent from HDFury. It supports 4K resolutions at 60Hz with a bandwidth of 18Gbps and offers numerous functions such as scaling, converting, splitting and more. Vertex can be used with almost any HDMI device and is able to accept almost any HDMI format and adapt to the capabilities of the connected display or receiver. This reduces the need to replace components in the setup that do not fulfil all the required compatibility criteria but are otherwise fully functional.
All relevant data such as HDMI signal input and output are displayed on the 256x64 pixel OLED display of the Vertex Switcher. HDCP, version, colour depth, colour subsampling etc. are displayed. The device is ideal for professional A/V applications and can be used in various scenarios, such as home cinema, conferences and digital entertainment centres.
In addition, the HDFury Vertex offers a wide range of control and management options that will delight professionals in particular: OSD, Windows GUI, iOS/Android app (app only with HDFury "GoBlue" - HDF0201 adapter not included) and RS232. This means you always have all the relevant information at a glance, which is more than helpful in the event of a fault.
The Vertex is a true 2x2 18Gbps HDMI audio matrix/splitter/switcher/scaler/converter/de-embedder that supports all HDMI, HDCP and HDR up to HDR10+, HLG or Dolby Vision (including LLDV).
HDMI audio is supported by all currently existing formats, including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Dolby True HD etc. HDMI 2.1 features such as Auto Low Latency Mode and Variable Refresh Rate are supported for both EDID signalling and source detection.
The Vertex is capable of extracting HDMI audio up to 5.1 and looping through any audio format, including Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Plus, via HDMI while downscaling the video for legacy AV receivers. The Vertex is also capable of simultaneously outputting analogue left and right stereo and up to 5.1 audio via optical S/PDIF via a 3.5mm 2-in-1 socket
With the Vertex, HDFury has developed a device that offers the best signal integrity of 18 Gbps ever achieved with a 5V device. This ensures seamless integration even with lower quality cables that would otherwise not work with other high bandwidth signal devices.
As the Vertex is not only a switcher, scaler etc., but also a problem solver in terms of HDCP, EDID, HDR etc., it is of course important that the device is always up to date with the latest technology. The manufacturer makes this possible through firmware updates, so that you are always up to date and problems can be solved quickly and efficiently
